Mike vs Dak - fun competition

Impressive. You nailed it. Funny how the Romo cry babies were telling us all the opposite when Garrett beat him.
Yeah I'm kinda in the middle. I'm not a Dak lover or hater. I think he's a functional qb with room for growth.

This season will tell us a lot about the qb.

These are such goofy comparisons. This is the equivalent of players who can hit all these shots in a game of HORSE but then are not that good at actually playing football. That is Mike. Good job hitting a crossbar from 50yds out. Now can you read a defense, make good decisions, run an offense? Nope.

Here's a better comparison. One is 22-10 as a starter. Won rookie of the year and was a candidate for NFL MVP. The other is a 3rd string QB trying to make a team but hey, he can hit crossbars!

Mike should have worn his helmet. Advantage: Mike White

Noticed Dak had no problem throwing 50 yards in the air in a rather flat trajectory (passing the cross bar by about a foot or two), while Mike's throw had a high arcing throw that took forever to get there. So much for those naysayers who said Dak has no arm? Plenty of arm there.

Btw, where was noodle arm Orange Crush?
LOL!

Dak had to step up hard into that second step to throw to get it 50 yards. White just lobbed one up (covering more distance through the air) without taking 2 steps and hit the bar.

In other words, what you're saying, is Mike has "arm talent". Gotta have alot of arm talent to suceed in this league. Risen said so.

White tossed it flat footed. Like a lob shot. Was the goal to hit the crossbar?

"Without taking two steps"? Just because the camera guy did not pan the camera back in time to catch White taking 2+ steps doesn't mean he didn't . Of course he did, but some fans are too set in their ways.

Plus, FYI, it takes much more STRENGTH to line drive pass a throw 50 yards in the air with speed and velocity at a target 10 feet off the ground, than it does to throw an arcing slow arriving one.

ok, come back to me when you have video evidence of a QB moving slowly into his throw (like White did) to make a lob and takes two steps like Dak did.

and come back to me when you have video evidence of White taking two steps in that throw because you just said "Of course he did"

Some fans are too set in their ways...you mean like you? I'm not sure how I'm too set in my way, all I made was statements based on the video, nothing more, nothing less.

Common sense sure is lacking.

It's something I commonly hear from other Cowboys fans and I frequently wonder if they actually watch the games.
Those are usually just people who are repeating what they have heard others say. Bunch of sheep. His first year when he won 13 games we were all lovin him. Weak arm my hemorrhoids. It may not be
Brett Farve/John Elway strong but he is no slouch either. At least he isn't throwing 25int's to 12td's in a season.
