Jeremy Langford 4 years 577 carries 39 catches 219 yards

Four-year letterwinner rushed for 2,967 yards on 577 carries (5.1 avg.) with 40 touchdowns in his career . . . appeared in 50 career games, including 27 consecutive starts at tailback . . . had 18 career 100-yard rushing games, third most in MSU history . . . closed his career in conference games by rushing for more than 100 yards in 15 straight Big Ten games and 16 consecutive games against Big Ten opponents;

his 15 consecutive 100-yard rushing performances in Big Ten regular-season games is a school record; it was also the longest 100-yard streak in the FBS for regular-season conference games since STATS began tracking such records in 1996 . .

Is it just me or does Wisconsin tend to put a lot of miles on their RBs?

I'm not worried about mileage that much just because rb's shouldn't get a 2nd contract anyway in today's nfl. We need 4, maybe 5, years out of 1 of these guys. If they weren't injury prone in college then I'm not too worried about it. Any RB can get hurt at any time in the nfl.

Another important thing to note here is that Murray had a ton of carries in college, and just 9 fewer touches than Gordon his senior year (though a lot of them were on receptions), while yea he did get hurt a fair amount I don't think the mileage in college was ever the reason and he still did play exceptionally well for us throughout his contract.

My goodness, that is a TON of carries in 2014 for Gordon, but many of the rest of them have a lot of carries as well...makes me want to NOT draft one of them in the first as their longevity could be in question....keep focusing on both interior lines

Ah they all have 5 years in them.

You get Melvin Gordon for 5 years.. Run him into the ground and let him walk at the end of his rookie deal.
