With the emergence of Terrence Williams I think this is the beginning of the end for Austin as a Cowboy.

I think we've past that point already.

It's come full circle for Miles. He started as a young guy with little experience who was limited in his playing time by an overpaid and underproducing WR. It took an injury for him to get his big break and he ran with it. Had a good couple of years but still could have done more if he weren't constantly recovering. This year even when he was healthy he didn't look like the same guy from 2009 or 2010.

It is what is is. He is now in Roy Williams shoes and there are a number of young and hungry players who want to get their shot at being Miles Austin. Shut him down. If he can get healthy enough let him come back and work his way back into things. If not, it was good while it lasted.

Remember when he was coming up he couldn't shake those knee sprains. Once he got here he couldn't shake those thread like hamstrings. I honestly feel his knee issues are the reason for his hamstring issues. I think he over strengthened his quads and calves to help with his knees and paid little to no attention to his hamstrings.

I thought we were past that point last season but now that the Cowboys have a legit replacement for him that's producing this clearly looks like the end for Austin in Dallas.

There is no such thing as a "healthy" Miles Austin anymore. The guy is always just a hamstring injury in hibernation. At least after he hit pay dirt...funny how that happens. Just sayin'.

Miles is a good guy, but some things need to be done. This is a business

i agree, some of the personal attacks on Miles is crazy. Miles reach this level becaues of his dedication to his craft- hard worker. I dont understand why the hammy thing keeps happening. With that said; shut him down until he can get back to the player we have all seen. he could really help us down the road.
