They're in football heaven in Philly. Mud stomped the Patriots to revive their Super Bowl run this year and got rid of one of the least popular players on the team. They hated Austin.

I think the Kardashians did it to him. Maybe he will eventually become Melana Austin. Also, as a side note, Austin has a smile that looks like a horse. That is all. Thank you.

I still have love for Austin. Was great to see a homegrown project breakout like he did-- even if it was short lived.

If only his hamstrings were as strong as his heart.

See folks, this is what we should say about former players.

I really loved Austin's breakout game where you could see the gigantic smile on his face as he caught that long touchdown and ran it in.

6-10 might actually do it, especially if us and the Giants keep losing every week and the Skins find a way to blow it.

No joke, it could be the first 6-10 division winner in history. I don't think it will be, but it's not impossible.

Still better than Devin Street. I honestly would not be surprised if Dallas signed him. They need another veteran WR.

I must have been the only Cowboys fan to not like Austin all that much even when he "broke out". He never looked the part.

Great moment for sure. He was awesome for a bit and a bright spot on the team.

I don't think the current staff would use him effectively even if they did take a flyer on him, though.

People have forgotten Austin's greatest moment as a Cowboy - his KO return for a TD against the Seahawks in the playoffs.

I forget how that game ended... :0

Bring him in, will fit right in with these guys. Maybe he and Butler can come up with a hammy off-season regimen together
