On the Orton interception......

"Because I didn't see it"

Unreal..........

Was that the last time we see Miles Austin in a Cowboys uniform?

Just re-watched the replay....and this just stinks of the Green Bay/Romo interception where Miles just let the DB make the play.

How can he not see it?????

I think that is the third game ending interception when targeting Miles " I will never fight for the ball" Austin in the past couple seasons.

I would love to blame Miles"lost it in the lights" Austin, but this one was not his fault. It was merely a bad throw.

The ball was three feet behind him.

What is the point of this thread?

Thank you. No living human being on earth could have caught that ball if they were in Miles shoes

That pass was behind him and he even threw his arm back in an attempt to deflect it from the defender. He isn't at fault. It was a bad pass and it got picked off.

Miles is the type of receiver you need to lead with the ball, but they keep throwing these apparently designed underthrows to him. It's an epic fail. And no, he didn't have a chance with this one or the Romo throw against GB.

Austin will be gone, but that's due to his salary, not the INT. Williams will be the #2 moving forward, with Beasley working the slot.

That ball was 3-4ft behind him, nothing he could do to stop that. It was just a bad throw.

The interception wasn't Austin's fault, but he's been pretty much MIA for the past three years or so. This should've been his last game in a Cowboy uniform. Williams is already twice the player he is at this point.

Yea how on earth could anyone blame that football on him? Why didn't he fight for it? What is there to fight for? The ball was BEHIND him. Just like Wittens was. Orton was all you could ask for today. He put us in position to win. But he had some stinkers in there which is to be expected by a backup.

Witten's was completely different. Ball went right through his hands. Miles never had a chance for this one. He tried to reach back and swat at it.. nothing more he could do there.

I agree. The Witten one was more catchable and while I blame Witten for that one moreso than Orton.......it was still a bad pass.

What's cute is this. If that had been Romo that threw that ball, NOTHING but excuses would be coming from the mouth of Romo lovers. Oh, Austin was running too fast and out ran the ball. The line was blocking too good, but Tyron was too tall and blinded Romo for a second. Tyron sucks.

Garrett called a horrible play, we should have run it in that scenario. But because it's Orton who threw it, they have no problems seeing the pass for what it was, like we do with Romo's passes.
