Just saw below article on DMN blog. Assume it's not a joke. Jeez, really disappointed. Anyway, here it is. At least it looks like he intends to post some leftover tidbits from Tuesday & Wednesday practices. Hope some of the other writers do the same.

The Cowboys' final practice has been called off because of weather. No Wade Phillips press conference or locker room access, either.
The Cowboys will have a team meal/family day instead.
We've got a whole bunch of leftovers from the last two days that we'll get to after a nice, long lunch.

Some on this board overreacted way too many times to dumb stuff. Cowboys would never call off a practice session because of the heat; that's why they have the indoor facility. But would they call it off--just liked they cancelled last 45 minutes of practice on Tuesday--when the winds hit at least 75 mph.

If there is a Driving rain storm in December and Romo gets struck by Lightening on the field, we can all point to this action by Wade and say "if practice was held in that Driving rain-storm in June, then Romo would be better prepared to avoid that lightening-bolt."

I realize the Cowboys shouldn't be compared to other teams, but I've read in several places about teams canceling the last day of practice to take the team bowling or some other team-building activity.

Right, I don't think it was the weather. They just called off what was to be only a one-hour practice anyway.

Like WG said, other teams do this, usually a kind of reward for working hard earlier in the week.

I'm mostly disappointed Wade canceled his PC, but oh well, no biggie.

If we are playing a game in December and Romo throws an interception due to sweat getting in his eyes from not wiping his forehead, we can point to Wade cancelling practice today as the reason why that happened.
