Anybody know how many teams have lost to a certain opponent in the regular season but defeated them in the Super Bowl? I think the Raiders did it in 1980 and '83.

How about this one: anyone know how many teams have beaten BB's Patriots twice in one season? Or even twice in a row since they started winning championships?

This was actually a concern of mine when we played them earlier in the year.

Colts beat them three in a row until they lost a few weeks ago.

why? they'd be easy pickins...we are alot better than them

honestly nobody worries me in the NFC, not even GB...unless we have a slew of injuries and/or turnovers nobody in the NFC is beating us this yr

David

1. Divisional opponent
2. Difficult to beat a team 3 times in a season

3. I'm getting flashbacks of 1998 where we swept the Cardinals in the regular season.

New Orleans is the team we DON'T want to play in the playoffs. It's looking pretty slim that they'll even MAKE it. But, THAT'S the team that could "show up" and look just like they did last year in wasting and disposing of the Beagles in the playoffs. It's all the same guys and they know a little about winning. They burned the hell out of our secondary last year and I don't like them one bit. THAT'S the team to worry about.
Second team to worry about: The Arizona Cardinals. Laugh all you want, but our biggest and ONLY buggaboo is our secondary. With Curt Warner, Bolden and Fitzgerald, that would be a problem.

Other than that, anything less than home-field and a SB appearance, at this point, would be a major "CHOKE"!!! No one else in the NFC is even remotely capable in keeping up with our package.
