Minnesota Vikings "Hate Thread"

time to post up why you hate the Vikings.

I'll start by saying they basically suck, and their uniform colors are ghey.

I actually like the team. But the mosquitos in Minnesota can carry off small children, so I hate them.

I like the Vikings. Always have. All the way back from the Fran Tarkenton days. Just a hard team to hate. Though I did move from like to lukewarm that year they went almost undefeated and then got plotzed in the playoffs.

It's easier to like teams that don't encroach on your own success.

Don't really hate them, but I'm going to cringe when Favre makes a terrible throw and they'll blame it on one of the following:

WR/TE/RB - "He let up on his route."
OL - "His protection really broke down that play."
Age - "It's expected that a wiley veteran like Favre just wants to win."
Experience - "It's a new system for him."
Defense - "If the Vikings defense were on the field less, Brett wouldn't have to force those throws."
Dome - "He's used to the frozen tundra and the depths of a winter hell."
Mississippi - "The lack of humidity up here takes a lot off his throws."

It's hard to "hate" a ******** cousin. I can't say I hate them. I HATE Favre and I hate the guy who dresses up like a Viking (Who-I believe is a Guidance Counsellor-LOL).

Living in South Dakota my entire life, HATE isn't strong enough for how i feel about the vikings and their fans. Back in the day when i was young we didn't have a dish so i had to watch what was on on Sundays and that was the vikes EVERY freaking weekend. Most of the people i knew were vikings fans and even back then in the 70's and early 80's most of them hated the Cowboys. I could go on but suffice it to say i don't care for them or their fans.
