I can't help but to look at last nights game and think of all the missed opportunities. As poorly as our line played and as well as Tiki was running the ball the game was still well within reach several times. Here are a few of the crucial opportunities missed..
First the Burress touchdown.. Roy gets taken out of the play and PWat is out of position.. Roy would have at least hit Burress..
Then the missed flea-flicker because two guys can't block Arrington..
Down 12-7 before half, Bledsoe throws the INT.. worse case scenario it would have been 12-10 after playing like crap for a half.
Then Bradie James drops a sure interception that would have yeilded at least a FG before the half
Still at it's 12-7..felt like it should have been 20-7.. well.. it was soon 19-7 after Strahan tips the Romo pass and Giants scored early in the second half.
Then 4th and 2 and TO drops the first down.. again would have been at least 3 points.
Then down 26-15 at the Giants 34, Romo throws the screen pass to a held Julius Jones and it gets picked.. poor decision.. again.. probably would have been at least 3 points..
Then down 29-15 at the Giants 11 Romo throws another pick for a Giant TD, on the skinny post to Crayton... another 3 points.. of course they needed 7 with only 2:48 left in the game.
Then the Cowboys score in 20seconds to get back within 14..
With three timeouts and 2:05 on the clock.. the defense fails to stop the Giants running game... something they couldn't do all night.
Bottom line is that the Giants made plays and Dallas didn't. The Cowboys had more than enough opportunities even with the poor line play and they not only didn't come away with touchdowns, but didn't come away with any points at all. They left anywhere from 9-21 points on the field which is completely unacceptable.
