Maybe the players just had a bad day. They're not robots. I didn't see MM make bad throws, drop passes or being carried 5 yards by Javonte Williams.
A player can have a bad day. When the whole team has a bad day it falls on the HC. This loss was a Monday-Saturday issue, they were simply not ready.
Common trend I see here on CZ is that when the offense doesn't perform, it's MM's fault. When the offense plays well, Moore gets all the credit...
MM is a good coach..Hes righted the ship quickly. It's Moores playcalling that is bothersome.MM, Dak and Moore need to figure out the short yardage game...but throwing deep passes on 3rd and short of 4th sort is dumb. The O left the D on the field too much... That muffed punt could have changed the game... Anyways it feels like Halloween came a week late....all the top teams struggled. Arizona is the team to beat. We don't stand a chance against them with our D and our current playcalling.
Yep, that's 4th down call tossing it to CD when you can run and pick up the first was stupid. Like what was the thought process there, quickly score and put the defense back on the field again? Why?
Probably just the opposite. Sounds weird to say, but coaching while a team is on a hot streak is a tough situation. You have to find the ability to keep your team of 20 something millionaires humble when every media outlet is saying they are nearly unbeatable.
They came out and the first 3 minutes looked good till we failed the 4th down. Failed to put up early points. Defense tried but started getting torn apart. I knew it was a loss at half time. Dak looked terrible and I can’t figure that out. He looked like the 2017 Dak. The whole team did. Unreal. The drop off from the week before is drastic.
Can we stop with the 'Fire the coach' every time we lose a game. It's a shallow way of thinking. Can we try looking 2 inches past your own face for once?
We aint winning anything if Big Mac is leading the way to get it. Garret was a cheerleader. But I don't know what Mike is. He's definitely not a leader. IMO. Your team is getting their teeth kicked in and he and Moore standing on the sidelines looking as clueless as Garrett used to be Again. We can expect nothing from this coaching staff in situations like this. No adjustments. No leadership. No nothing. Just blank sideline stares.
Haha so much this. Last week we saw threads about MM getting coach of the year, now this team is doomed and needs him fired ASAP!
I'm sure the players have been taught that since their pony football days. If they're not "humble" by now..... . These are grown men with minds of their own, and hopefully, mature enough to be "humble" without having an old coach getting in their face. . I think it's more likely that they need a contemporary, a teammate, who can be more of a STRONG leader...a player coach of you will.... . A coach can only do so much: make roster decisions, make game time decisions, organize practices and meetings, and keep his own integrity in check. Help come up with a game plan each week. His plate is full just doing these things.
actually wilson, cooper, lamb, and wright dropped balls ..Dak overthrew players, missed reads, took sacks, the old was bad, the dl was bad. LBs MIA at times, Diggs played like poo..etc etc. Team loss
Not sure i've disagreed with a post more....well aside from most Dak Attack threads. If you think NFL players are humble you are severely mistaking. You think Henry Ruggs was humble before last week? Nope, he thought he was invincible. These are guys mostly early 20s to early 30s still learning about life, and given hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars. If you expect them to just line up, play, and execute flawlessly we will have to agree to disagree on this one. You get 50+ players high on themselves after a winning streak and its simply human nature to feel like you are untouchable. Not to factor in that locker room of players all have personal lives with distractions that are everywhere. Being a HC at any level is a tough job, the NFL is no exception just because these are adults. That just means they have different issues to worry about. Player/personality management I would argue is the most important piece of being a HC. No one makes it to this level not understanding the Xs and Os, or how to schedule practice.
Yes, but a good HC always takes the blame and they should. All those errors were from lack of focus and that's where a good HC needs to make sure that his team is focused.
....might be safe to say, they DID NOT properly prepare for this team. They just went through fundamentals. Winning lots of games does that to you. Hopefully, wake up game.
yet wasn't getting much credit it was all quinn and Moore now back to MM as scapegoat..BS! hypocrites
