I can't believe he gets paid to write that garbage. If you're so desperate to be edgy/different, might as well have a kid generate his list. I can imagine how it would read "The Broncos and Colts are the best teams in the NFL cause I like ponies."

When did journalism, in particular sports journalism, turn into throwing controversial crap against a wall and calling it art? I honestly don't understand how far journalism has fallen. If you want logical takes, you'll find much better with under the radar Cowboys bloggers via twitter, some local media, or even here. These guys getting paid to cover sports are all mimicking ESPN and shows like 1st Take. Safe yourself the ear/eye bleeds and lance these festering boils that are National Sports "Journalists".

PK predicted the Eagles to win the East in 14'. He predicted Manziel to start by week 12. He predicted the Dallas Defense to be one of the worst in the NFL....

Why does anyone care what Peter King has to say?

It's fun to read, listen, agree or disagree... with everyone for that matter, including many on this board.

But, take it with a grain of salt.

Hope we learned our lesson in both 2010 and 2014 on how wrong offseason power rankings can be in either direction

I don't see what credibility PK loses. He's only offering his predictions. If wrong predictions classify as losing credibility, then most people on this forum lost their credibility long time ago. Many here have predicted the Cowboys would be better than their actual record year after year. Some do it so often, they fall into the "broken clock" theory.

I just take it for what it's worth - a prediction. I'm not personally offended or wounded because someone doesn't think the Cowboys will do well.Though I may disagree with PK, I remember it's only a prediction.

Although I must say why the Eagles are getting so much love from PK and many others is beyond me. I just don't see it.

There's a lot Peter King doesn't see.

I can see where he may say that. What we added on defense as far as projected contributors is a player who is going to miss a decent chunk and two rookies. Its a tough be to depend on rookies for a quick turn around.

As far as a better defense is concered, I feel possible improvements from Lawrence and in particular Crawford are things talking heads dont mention enough

Do these clowns (writers) get to write whatever they want or is their content compared to what really happens from year to year? Seems to me there should be some accountability in that area, otherwise they are no better than the average CZ posters in that respect. In this case it sounds like he just drew names out of a hat for his ranking system. Sorry Peter King, you don't seem to know what you are talking. I'm inclined to ignore this read.

+1.

As of now, Hardy will be back for the 11th game of the season, and he sat out 15 games last year. Do I think he'll be a great piece for us when he gets back on the field? Yes, however, I can see why some could have some skepticism on how Hardy will be for us potentially missing 25 games in a row.

King may of forgotten that Sean Lee is healthy.

The rest of the pieces are rookies. Rookies that are oozing with potential, but have yet to play a down in the NFL. Don't think you can call someone great without them ever playing a down in the NFL.
