Irrelevant.

If Dak played stronger in the second half, I'd praise him. Mistakes in the first half aren't as problematic as those in the second. Nice try.

NEXT!

No you wouldn’t. Just like last week when you would not let go of the Pick 6 that went threw BOTH of Williams’ hands as being partly responsible for the loss last week. You tried to argue that pint with so many folks. That was ALL on TWill....and the defense. Dak, once again, played his tail off. Yet, you had to crap on him.

Because...it was partly Prescott's fault LOL And no one made a solid counter-argument. Until some of you learn how to debate, just stop trying.

Again, nice try. Also Darnold is in the 16th game of his career. In college. Nice comparison to a guy who has played college and is in the second season of his NFL career.

And I have criticized Darnold already in this thread. Me comparing him to Luck isn't glowing, since I think they both are turnover machines at times.

Wait.....so, Darnold gets a pass for being in his 16th college game, whereas Dak doesn’t seem to get the same respect from you for playing in the 21st game of his Pro career......AGAINST A MUCH HIGHER LEVEL OF COMPETITION? Got it.

He gets a pass because he's extremely young and raw. Because of this, I think Darnold should stay in college and come out a better product. I don't give Prescott a pass because the things he needs to be improving hasn't been improved. Footwork and precision are still bad.

You also think I'm not taking competition into account. I AM. I think if Darnold declared and went into the NFL next year, he would be a struggling rookie QB. Especially if he goes to the Browns or Jets. But I prefer his upside over most QBs.

Anything else?

Matt, you’re seriously the king of defeating many of your own arguments - that’s probably while you feel no one debates you properly. Saying Darnold is raw but not allowing Dak the same is hypocrisy at its finest. Most folks knew Dak had flaws that needed to be corrected - but, he’s having to correct them at a much more difficult level of play. The fact STILL remains that he was 13-3 last year at the highest level of football and is 2-3 this year mainly because of a HORRID defense that has made many players look way more spectacular than they really are. Leading your team to back-to-back home games of 30 or more points should be good for 2 wins. But, when you have an agenda, I get that facts like that don’t matter. So, I’ll let you keep believing your own BS and let you bask in your fake glory.

Oh my god....read what I just added to my post.

Dude, Darnold is in his 16th game of his career. FAR MORE RAW than Dak. Dak had 3 seasons as a starter in college and 2 years in the NFL, and he STILL is struggling with precision passes and footwork.

AGAIN, I am NOT judging Darnold as an NFL player. I am judging him as a young, raw QB with amazing upside. If he went into the NFL now, he would struggle. What are you even arguing? I am factoring in competition. I don't think Darnold would come into the NFL and automatically play better than Dak.

I am judging Dak differently. I am judging him as a second season NFL QB that hasn't progressed in two important areas.

Goodness haha TRY AGAIN.

(No, I do not care about Prescott's 2016 season now. It's 2017, he hasn't progressed)

Matt, maybe YOU’RE not understanding the inconsistencies in your own argument. Any QB, when he gets to a higher level of play, is going to be RAW. Not too many guys come into the league in Years 1&2 and set the league on fire. So, how can you honestly judge them on different terms if they’re BOTH raw at the level in which they’re currently playing?

...yeah, Dak was raw last year. It's not last year now. It's the second season, and he hasn't progressed. I'm not saying he should be a finished product, I am saying I am not seeing the areas I questioned Dak in last year being improved.

I can see where Goff and Wentz progressed, I can't see that with Dak.

And I have even said Darnold has regressed in some areas.

Try again. NEXT!

Some of it is on him, some of it is on USC play calling and injuries/bad receivers. I still think he's a stud, and I don't think the "primetime" thing is a valid criticism, on a huge stage last year, he made some of the best throws I've seen from a college QB to get them a Rose Bowl victory.

What I think is the biggest problem is that he is trying to put too much on himself now, forcing throws, trying to make magic happen rather than just taking what a defense gives him. He can make all the throws, but he needs to realize the defense can make some plays as well and have.

I think he'll be okay - may need another year of college though. Right now, his draft stock is hurting.

If you want to see where my criticisms of him. They still stand.
