MNF Preview w/Keith Kidd
-------------------------------------

I am just being a realist.

Andy Reid is a better Head Coach than Wade Phillips.

Why do I think this? Because Reid has always been 'offensive minded' and his offense is always the hearbeat of the Eagles.

Wade has always been a 'defensive minded' coach and yet the Cowboys which is loaded with #1 draft picks isn't the heart of this team.

If you don't see that Romo and the offense are the key to this team winning a Super Bowl this season then you are not looking hard enough.

And just for the record. I really hope Wade makes me eat this post and that by the end of the season this defense is dominating opponents like we have never seen before.

This is the 2nd season for these players in Wade's D. Hopefully they will make a huge leap.

That has a zero chance of happening sir. IMO atleast. This defense has a top potential of a 1994 niner/1999 rams type defense. Nothing to turn your nose up at but not a '85 bears or '00 Ravens type. It pretty much falls on Bradie James why this defense wont be that type of dominance. But, I wont be able to see it anyway since im about to go off to boot camp.

Reid MAY be a better coach than Wade, but IMO the "heartbeat" of the Eagles has always been the D under Jim Johnson.

Romo get other players get a lot of publicity but if we want to win a champion ship its going to be on our defense. Our defense failed us in that playoff that game last year and thats keep it real.

I totally agree......Phillie have always place a much better defense than offense on the field since J. Johnson have been there.

Oh please!

Even though both coaches do not have Super Bowl victories, Andy Reid has definately had more success as a head coach in this league.

But all it would take is one season for Wade Phillips to change that perception ;) .
