"Bust " is off to his best start in his 5year career after signing a meager extension for 3 million. He had a ways to go to warrant the Cowboys trading up 8 spots in the 1st in 2012 giving up a 2nd round pick.

He had his 1st interception in 2 years against 49ers and made the play that sealed the win.
Every week you're making yourself more money, Jones told him.

Don't re-sign him, he's gonna pull a Crawford on us......it seems that after Jerry gives these dudes their pay days, they start getting injured and/or decline in production.

I doubt Mo is going to command a very large contract. It will probably be market value. Mo was playing well last year as well. You can tell he plays with good technique and confidence. That isn't something that you can just turn on. Mo is finally playing the way he and the rest of cowboyszone expected. I think he signs for a 5-6 mill a year type deal.

I'm ok w 5-6, but I'm thinking he's greedy and wants 8-10. We'll find out soon enough. All the extra celebrations he does kinda hints forwards wanting a big payday. But just my opinion. Could be wrong

Crawford isn't phoning it in. He just seems not durable enough for playing inside. His extension was structured so that after the first year (2016), the cap hit would be the same to keep him or cut him. He's basically playing on a year to year deal. There's like 28 mill of that deal that he won't see if he underperforms.

If he wants to get paid like a top corner, he needs to show up today and not get burnt by Green.

He was beat deep on the pick he had. Noodle arm QB pick there.

I don't see it, He's always sound humble and I think the contract signed this years proves that. I'm thinking 5-6 15 mil signing bonus type of deal.

He really wasn't. He had good position with help inside and then corrected course when he started tracking the ball. Which he caught because the WR didn't see it as quickly as he did.

It was a really bad throw, though.

If Mo stays on course, it would be dumb to let him walk if his new contract isn't a huge deal. Carr will most likely be gone and then Dallas would need to find two corners. I want the draft addressing the DL/LB'ers, not the secondary.

The only "bust" that should be attached to Mo right now is the "bust out" game against SF. The past is the past, look at how he did last year and what he is doing this year.
Some people just can't let things go. I am looking at his play now. Not the past, not past injuries, nor what they traded to get him.

SInce we were so hard on him as high 1st then we also have to load on the praise for his play as a cheap FA.......... right now he is just a 1yr/3m steal

How is trying to maximize your earnings make one "greedy?"

He was supposed to have safety help on that play. Dungy broke it down on SNF.

Safety jumped down on an intermediate crossing route and left the deep middle wide open.

I was going to say on that play you see Byron but you wonder where the other safety was at.

That's the Cowboy fans logic. They want players to take pay cuts. I get in arguments with a poster over here because Dez was "selfish" because he maximized his earnings. Yet, I don't see them offering to take a pay cut at their job.
