This guy is in a "contract year". His NFL life is flashing before his very eyes. How many times have we seen this? Guy suddenly looks all worldly just to get a contract and then sinks back into douchenozzle status afterwards. Don't fall for it folks.

I am going to enjoy finally seeing MO be what he should have been when we drafted him (this year) and look forward to filling that spot next year. Continue to build through the draft and jettison old mistakes. I don't trust him and our front office shouldn't either.

We should have never done what we did to Demarco. That should have been reserved for this dude.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing him play for his contract... (from someone else)

He was in a "contract year" last year. Therefore I fail to see the logic. If he's improved it has a lot more to do with him finally being healthy and comfortable than his contract status.

(info in case you forgot - we refused his 5th year option before last season started, meaning he was playing for the free agent contract we signed him to this offseason).

All that said, I never was on the Claiborne sucks bandwagon. I wish him well, and hope he performs (as I do for anyone wearing the star).

We have a lot invested in Mo to let him walk now that he is finally healthy.

My whole premise here is take it at face value. Don't fall into the trap and become charmed into just handing out another 4 years to this dude.

I'm kinda charmed by whoever the lady wearing the white pants in your avatar is.

Last year was a contract year.

Kind of throws your entire premise away.

Nah not really. He's vying for a multi year deal and knows that's going to require 16 healthy starts. My premise remains strong. He is not to be trusted.

If Claiborne finally plays to his potential and stays healthy it will be hard not to resign him considering cb will be a need next season. Carr will be a free agent and Scandrick will be the only starter on the team.

And he left only to never play at that level again. No will prob be the same

That probably had to do more with his age than anything else. If he was 3 years younger, we probably would have resigned him and I think he would have done better than he did in DC.

I doubt we'd resign him for top dollar next year even if he played at a pro-bowl level this year.

I respectfully disagree with the alleged difference but at least we both agree on one thing. We both look forward to seeing him play.
He was in a contract year last year, and all he could get was a one year contract here.

He was a FA this year thus last year was a contract year and his first since being drafted.
