4 - Joey Bosa - DE - OSU

I know most will start tuning out here. For whatever reason, Bosa's name has lost a lot of luster in the last couple months. I personally just don't buy that his upside is an issue. The kid put up 13.5 sacks and forced 4 fumbles as a 19 YO playing in the B1G. People keep quoting his 40 time, but ignore that he finished 1st (or tied for 1st) in the 20 shuttle, 3-cone, and broad jump at the combine. The first two are much more applicable to the responsibilities of a DE than 40 time. Bosa is a top level athlete, has a great motor, and is as technically sound as they come. For those worried by his 2015 production - I'd suggest checking out some of the game footage. His impact was not measured wholey by his sack total. PFF graded him as the 2nd best pass rusher last season; the best the year before.

I see a kid with a very high floor, who is ready to contribute, and who absolutely can be a well roundend 10-15 sack/year guy.

34 - Kenny Clark - DT - UCLA

I don't know that the team will make it a point to address DT early, especially if the first pick is DL, but it's the easiest position to project top 20-25 value at 34. If it's not Clark, it'll be Billings, Butler, or Nkemdiche. There will be a first round value at DT on the board, and I think it should and will be considered.

67 - Braxton Miller - WR - OSU

The team adds a much needed play-maker to the offense. Like DT at 34, I see a lot of WR value in this range. If it's not Miller, it could be Cooper, Boyd, Thomas, or (ideally!) Shepard.

104 - Dak Prescott - QB - MSU

Back up and developmental project.

135 - Kelvin Taylor - RB - FLA

Some well-rounded youth for our RB rotation.

I can see that as the Cowboys have been linked to all those players except Taylor.

I don't like Bosa. But there's no point in hashing that out.

I like Clark. A lot.

I'd rather have Shepard or Fuller or Boyd over Miller. Great athlete but he's really raw as a WR prospect. But not a bad big necessarily.

Ehh on Prescott. Doesn't move the needle for me but it's the 4th round, so no biggie. I think I might prefer Allen from Arkansas.

Ehh on Taylor, would be interesting to see what other backs would be available there. Prosise? Perkins? I'd rather have both over Taylor.

I like Shepard and Fuller over Miller too, but think both will be gone by the 3rd. I think Boyd has a higher floor, but lower upside. I wouldn't mind him there at all, however.

I'm with you on Prescott, honestly. I'm ehh on just about all of the developmental QBs in the draft. But I think they do take one and they've been linked to Dak. As you said, it's the 4th round. I'll be stoked if they wait that long before taking one.

Taylor isn't sexy, but he's a safe projection. Perhaps one of the guys on the Prosise, Perkins, Drake, WIlliams, Collins tier will fall that far, but Taylor feels like a safe projection. As a Florida fan, I've watched just about every game he's played. He's solid and he's a good locker room guy. He's not likely to ever be our back of the future, but I think he has a role in the NFL.

I like it. Short and sweet. Makes us better immediately, fills holes and isn't too cute.

If the top three go two QBs and Ramsey (very possible), then barring a trade Bosa is going to be a Dallas Cowboy. That draft would solidify the D-line in a big way.

I can live with some of that if certain guys indeed were off the board.

And while I don't like Bosa, if he did pan out and you also added Clark, you've really got yourselves a good, young DL with Bosa, Lawrence, hopefully Gregory gets his crap in order, Clark, Crawford, Irving. Even Thornton is only 27 right now.

I just have a fear that Bosa's ceiling is good, not great DE and certainly not worthy of the 4th pick.

If it were to happen, and Bosa and Clark panned out, we'd be set for a long time on the line. We'd be able to rotate 6 guys on passing downs - Bosa, Gregory, Crawford, Clark, Lawrence, and Irving. I'd love that.

I would go with Butler over Clark and Allen over Prescott but I can see this happening.

I actually like this draft and it seems pretty realistic:

4 - Bosa - Ramsey would be my first option here but i think he is gone before pick #4 so i am fine with Bosa. Would love to trade down if the opportunity presents itself.
34 - Clark - I love this pick and think he brings great value at pick 34.
67 - Miller - I like this pick due to the potential upside. He is big, fast, and athletic. I like Will Fuller but also have concerns about his issues dropping the ball. Sterling Shepard is small so I am not really a huge fan.
101 - Prescott - If we don't take QB in Round 1 then this is the earliest I really want a QB unless by some miracle Lynch fell to us in Round 2.
135 - Taylor - Don't know anything about this guy so I really can't comment. Looks like he had a good game against Florida St last year so that is a positive.

I think Shepard is a formality if hes there, the Dallas connection and all. Who knows with this team though. Hes the best route runner by far in this class, and gets seperation, he is the guy that this offense needs to take the next step in my opinion.

I like the first 2 rounds, could easily see DE and DT with first 2 picks.... and see even more defense in there possibly before 4th round is done

Yep, I could see this draft.

I think Prescott goes in the 3rd round.

The Cowboys could then pull the trigger on Hogan in the 4th round.

The 4th round isn't a bad price to pay for a good back up QB with any kind of upside. I think you're wrong about Bosa. That said, Kerrigan has 47.5 sacks and 17 FF in his first 5 NFL seasons. He has 23 in his last two seasons. Von Miller has 25.

I really like Allen. He is one QB who got better every year he played. Not flashy but a smart kid who gets the most out of what he has

If Ramsey is gone..... Then I'm fine with this draft

Don't know if they'd draft Kelvin though.... Think another RB they brought in

Big concern with Bosa is the drug issue which I haven't heard anything else about. If that is an issue I don't think you can draft him at 4 especially with the way things went with Gregory
