People rip on Parsons doing nothing against the run. In high school I was defensive end (100 years ago).
But, if you are told to rush the QB, get to the QB period, you are not even thinking of being caught inside or outside on a run.
Your whole goal is to get past that blocker(s).
Usually have CB or strong safety creeping up and hopefully seeing the run.
If you are straight up told your job is to rush the QB... you aren't going to be stopping the run.
By the looks of it, that is exactly what GB is telling him to do.
It was what Dan Quinn told him to do as well.
So I don't get the criticism of his run stopping ability.
