Good morning! I'm getting my roof replaced so my DirecTV is out of commission right now -- are there any other options for streaming the game at home? I know ESPN and Directv do not play nice, so I don't have one of the affiliated television providers for WatchESPN.

I'm seeing sites like firstrowsports.eu and wiziwig.tv that suggest it's possible. Has anyone ever used either of these sites?

I've used firstrowsports...you may have to miss about 5 minutes of the 1st qtr, but it's decent...quality isn't HD, but unless you want to go to a sports bar, that option is viable...

Weird, my DTV went out this weekend so had to stream from my lappy with SUnday Ticket. Unfortunately, that does not cover me for this game. So there are no other options other than missing some? May have to run out to the bar.

I've used Firstrow as a last resort. Works fine but the popup ads irriate me .... but its better than nothing.

Yeah, a site suggested downloading AdBlockPlus at the same time, apparently cleans it up nicely!

I use wiziwig, and have installed ad blocker plus. Works pretty good for me!

I have used both.
Once you put it in full screen mode, popup ads don't come up. But sometimes it will go back to the smaller screen then you just close out the ads agains.
Trick is to find the little hidden "X" to truly close it. Usually a faint hard to see x.

Can you set your dish in the yard to get reception. I did that before. Bolted it to a concrete block or something. Sat it in the yard or on front steps.

First row sports is the way to go. It lags a bit, and is delayed from real-time, so just avoid the NFL.com gamecasts, etc, and it'll be "live" to you.

Well, the roofers said they would reattach it today but wasn't sure if we would need to call Directv for dish alignment. Is that hard to do on your own? Will it pick up the signal if I get reasonably close to the original position?

A true Cowboys fan would have scheduled this work around the game! :p

It's fairly easy to do it on your. On your roof, best to have 2 people. You can get it close to get a signal, doesn't have to be exact.
If you know the general direction to point it. Then one person can rotate it around, as the other checks the strength signal on the tv.

I'm sure there are some good you tube videos on it, as well as online instructions.
