not ch 11 or CBS

Usually it would be on a local channel yes, CBS 11 usually or 21.
But since ESPN / ABC are under the same ownership, then this is the reason why. ESPN crap were the reason why Disney stocks dipped so much.
I am a bit surprised, but I am sure some strings were pulled. Unless it was negotiated in some contract issue.

Well it never would be on CBS, that's for sure. Usually it's on... KDFI? I don't know, some oddball channel usually picks it up. I have no idea, while I usually watch the OTA broadcast of FOX and CBS for speed and picture quality, I don't bother with MNF because I figure it's just a rebroadcast of ESPN.

Just Dallas?
I'm visiting my mom in Washington, D.C., and she ditched ESPN on her satellite service after my dad died four years ago. So I'm going to miss the game unless I can catch it over the Internet or unless the Washington, D.C. ABC-affiliate carries it.

But I doubt they'd want to give the D.C. area the pleasure (torture) of seeing the Cowboys clinch the division. :(

Just DFW area, it is an FCC rule. If the game is on a cable channel in the local market, it must be offered on an over the air station for those that do not have cable, or mostly for those cable station that do not offer ESPN or NFLN as a standard package...or something to that effect.

I think KXTA used to pick them up, which is the sister station to CBS 11.

I think it's KTXA :)

Cool, thanks... I will turn it on for a few and check out the picture quality.

Still on first cup of coffee after a later night than usual. Had to pick someone at the airport at 1 AM...having some dyslexia focusing issues .........

Gruden is freaking awesome. He's a hyper, little ball of fury, and knows Xs and Os. Why do people dislike this guy so much??
Apparently, when not posing for the camera, he is an abrasive, two faced liar. Did not instill much love or loyalty as a coach.

I'm pretty sure you can watch it on the espn app or through your computer on espn. Get you an HDMI cord and connect it to your moms tv from your com. Better than nothing lol

And he won a Super Bowl "on Dungy's team" and all that jazz.

Look, Argle, I just like the guy. He's fun in that booth. Kind of like that nut, crazy uncle that's had a few too many. Fun to be around for a few hours, never dull.

But thanks for some added insight, brother. I haven't heard this. Interesting.

I believe both markets have to have the games on a regular channel. Detroit and Dallas.
