Beasley said Dez wasn't happy with the WRs leaving some plays on the field. Dez told them to stop playing soft.

Bob Sturm @SportsSturm
@ESPNStatsInfo: Arkansas RB Jonathan Williams will miss season (foot surgery). Williams was SEC’s 2nd-leading rusher. >> this stinks.

David Helman @HelmanDC
Stephen Jones said he's not worried about Tyron Smith's biceps. Have to be smart with injuries with this long until Week 1.

Byron Jones will get a second opinion on his shoulder injury, but he and the Cowboys still don't think it's too serious.

Brandon George @DMN_George
Dallas Cowboys CB Byron Jones said his MRI didn't show any structural damage, but he will seek a second opinion on his injured left shoulder

Brandon George @DMN_George
Byron Jones seeking 2nd opinion because left shoulder injury related to same 1 he had surgery on in October (labral tear). Want to make sure

Jon Machota @jonmachota
Any connection between Rams practicing in CA and a possible move? Jerry Jones: "Could be." But they're here b/c I'm a fan of Jeff Fisher.

Drew Davison @drewdavison
Randle on getting popped by Trumaine Johnson: "It was a little wake up call, it was a little love tap. ... I’ve just got to get my pads down

Spoke to Cowboys safety Barry Church after practice. He tweaked something in his lower back, but expects to be back on the field tomorrow.

Over 7,700 fans watched practice at #CowboysCamp today, the biggest crowd of training camp this year. @NBCDFW

Jim Thomas @jthom1
I asked Cowboys owner Jerry Jones for his thoughts on the St. Louis stadium plan. His answer: "I don't have any thoughts on it. At all."

Brandon George @DMN_George
Cowboys safety Barry Church has a rib cartilage injury that forced him to the sidelines. Could miss a few days of practice.

Seems that 5th WR battle will come down to Lucky or Harwell. Lucky's fumbles are hurting him and Harwell is raising eyebrows with good WR and ST play.

Yeah. If the fumbles continue, I think we have higher chance of bringing an outsider in for that hole than for RB.
Not giving up yet though, but Lucky has fumbled almost every day lately.

Slight hint of concern on Jones. Maybe pessimism but when they say he's fine but still want a second opinion on a shoulder he previously had surgery on............ hmmmm..............

I'm most pleasantly surprised with Davon Coleman and Ken Bishop right now.

They may be fighting for one spot depending on how the roster shakes out in the end. I hope we're able to keep them both in some form or fashion.

With the way that Coleman has performed, and his ability to potentially play the 1 or 3, if I were Terrell McClain, I would be a little concerned.

McClain never seems to be healthy. I think his roster spot could be in jeopardy.

What the hell is wrong with Terrell now?? Ive lost track after 20 ailments last year.

Terrell McClain's health problems are an issue, we need players that are available to play, but he showed up positively late last season when he did get on the field. He brings more push than Nick Hayden and is more disruptive, just not as dependable to be on the field.

McClain is also a member of the starting kick return team, he plays in the bottom of a four man diamond that sets up ahead of the returners (Ken Bishop is the back-up there) and he's under a cheap contract through next season.

I'd axe Hayden first, but his dependability may save him for one more season.

If he can't practice or be healthy enough for games, then it doesn't matter how cheap his contract is.

McClain showed some good explosion at times last year, especially against the Giants and Commanders (2nd game). However, he is of little use to the team if he remains injured.

Davon Coleman, for all of his knuckleheadedness, has really played well in camp so far. He may be the most powerful defensive lineman on the team.

Very true.

I'm very, very happy with how Davon Coleman is playing.

He has both facets in his game, power and quickness. Coleman has beaten Travis Frederick with power, he also held up two OL in the Chargers game which allowed Damien Wilson to shoot through for that big TFL. And he's one plenty of reps using his quickness during camp, it makes him hard to defend.

As for most powerful, I'd but Coleman behind Tyron Crawford and Ken Bishop at DT.
