Moore is just as tall as Tyrod Taylor

Moore, Weeden, Cassel, future rookie draft pick....it doesn't matter.

How many players do we need to see fail miserably before people accept that this offense can only achieve any level of success with Romo playing....and that's a problem. Very very few players can read a defense at the line and call audibles to get guys open while snapping the ball at the last possible second and then spinning and buying enough time to get the pass completed....

The system is broken more than the players.
Every guy who has looked like complete garbage in this offense isn't actually complete garbage...the system is garbage. Just look at how it turned Cassell into a deer in headlights player. Weeden became Checkdown Charlie and Moore looked frustrated and riddled with anxiety.

Need way more than 1-3/4 games, to evaluate. And another game, if he finishes the Commanders game. We may see Showers in the 2nd half of that game.
And even the Commanders game won't give us a complete picture. He may get the win, but also depends if the Commanders play any starters, and for how long.
I bet we see McCoy, and even RG3 play.

Any way, 1 TD , 3 INT, and a whopping 2 FGs against the Bills. Same as the other 2 QBs lead down field, settle for FGs.

Anyway, I seen enough to know I want a QB in the first 2 rounds in the draft.
And that is not based on height.
Though I do prefer the pro typical size QB. Because they can take hits better. If not the prototypical size then they better be mobile, with a strong arm and accurate.

Anytime I read anything about putting Showers in at QB, I immediately quit reading. I do.

Same height without the arm or athletic ability.

That's the issue
A player can overcome being short, several have. But Moore has a very weak arm and while players have overcome not having strong arms I don't that any of them had as weak a arm as Moore. I like the kid and his moxie but just don't think he has an nfl arm

Wasn't saying they should put him in. Meant if KM plays like he did in Buffalo, by no TD's. They may play Showers just to see what he can do.
Not that Moore would been playing horrible, but just to look, like a PS game.

The more I think of it, they should, I am sure there are still Showers support groups on here.......that would be cool to have an off season QB rival threads, of 4th string QB's of the future....a show worth watching.........:lmao2:

Kellen Moore is like a short Chad Pennington, without the laser precision accuracy.

Has a great football IQ, just really seemed to struggle in that Buffalo weather.

And Taylor is about as good an athlete as you'll ever find at the QB position, and the guy has a cannon.

Agree and the fix is obvious. Let's just trade for Taylor's body and keep Moore's head.

There's our quarterback of the future.

Stop defending Moore. He is what he is, a journeyman guy with limited tools and an arm that will never get better. He's a good QB to help prepare games for the PS and as a 3rd emergency QB but he's a Buick Skylark trying to run a drag race against Cameros.

You have to be extremely accurate to get away with a lack of arm strength, unfortunately Moore isnt. I really like his intangibles, he seems to recognize the blitz well, get rid of the ball quickly and is pretty poised in the pocket for a guy with almost no NFL experience. I just dont think he has the arm to be a starting QB.

I'm confused. That's not Tyrod Taylor. That's Greg Salas. Is there a picture I'm not seeing? Also, Taylor is listed as 6'1" and Moore is 6'0" so they're almost the same height. You don't need a picture to verify that. Not to mention, pictures are hard to judge considering angles and distance, and the guy in the picture isn't even the right guy. That being said, when did Tyrod Taylor become the prototype for NFL quarterbacks?

Other thing is the lineman at times are minimally 6 feet 5 inches or more so a 6 footer looks small
