More concerned with Eagles moves than Giants

I still don't see them taking Elliott. I think they'll take Stanley if he's there. Pederson is a Reid clone and Reid never invested high picks in RBs but rather OL.

I agree. I don't see the concern in them drafting elliott. If that's who they wanted why not hang on to murray and use your 1st on another position? I see two very similar players.

Chase Daniel is sneaky good signing for Eagles. Reunites him with Peterson. Philly now has solid 1-2 punch at QB. They also absolutely robbed the Dolphins and move up from #13 to #8 in draft by trading away Kiko Alonso (injured for 2 years) and Maxwell who was absolutely horrible last year. Eagles are now positioned for Elliot in draft that would transform division. We should remember the Eagles have fairly dominant DL with Fletcher Cox & Bennie Logan. I kind of like philly strategy of just trading away FA they no longer like to move up in draft. I don't know if Dallas lacks creativity of just don't have trade partners but we rarely see Dallas make trades anymore.

BTW: Eagles swap 4th rounders with Texans in Murray trade.

OMG - you must be an Eagles fan for speaking something objective!

I think all the guys after the top5 are all pretty interchangeable. The order will be decided by what the teams needs.

The player they get at 8 isn't going to be worth the players they could get at 13 and 76 combined.

Tunsil
Goff
Wentz
Bosa
Ramsey

then 6-18 are all pretty equal

Not really. You won't find anyone who thinks there's a LB like Jack in that range, especially an OLB. And there's a pretty clear divide by most scouts between Stanley and the next crop of OTs like Conklin and Decker. Plus at 8, there's still a chance the draft breaks a weird way and someone like Goff or Ramsey falls. There's no chance either of those guys would be there at 13.

Eagles made a hell of a deal with the Dolphins. Dumped two mediocre players, one with a horrible contract and for taking their trash, the Dolphins gave them a 5 spot jump in the first round.

I think they are trading Bradford - Denver for their number 1?

Howie Roseman should be named GM of the Year right now if he can get the Dolphins to take his slop and move up 5 spots in the first round and then get the Broncos to give up their first round pick for Sam Bradford.

You are forgetting Hargreaves, Bruckner, Treadwell, Lawson, Elliott, Robinson.
Everyone has their own list but most would be happy with any one of them.

I'm not arguing that 8 isn't better than 13(duh) but that I would prefer staying at 13 and adding 74.

Great post. Our front office sucks and we all know it. I don't think ANYONE in this league wants to deal with JJ because he's a massive TOOL. Everything about the guy screams "DBAG" and not one team wants anything to do with him. He's a black sheep and has been for awhile. He's like George Steinbrenner use to be at the end...and Al Davis. A shell of his former self, who is just routinely makes a fool out of himself in recent years: so many bad signings they're hard to all list here. SO many bad draft picks they're hard to all list here. The worst front office in the NFC East by FAR now that the Chipster has been ushered out of Philly. Cowboys will finish last in the division again next season. Caught lightening in a bottle two years ago.

I'm not worried about the Giants, Eagles, Washington or anyone else for that matter. I'm worried about us. We finished dead last in the division with an aging quarterback that can't seem to keep his collarbones intact.

We desperately need help at the QB position, secondary, and dline. Thankfully the 1 position we are set at is oline. A nice RB would help.

This draft doesn't have top-end talent so 8 doesn't mean much. Outside of Tunsil nobody is overly impressive. I personally think we should trade out all of 4 and get as many draft picks as possible.

Murray wanted out of Philly. They had no choice but to trade him or have very unhappy player.

He was horrible. I can't believe anyone took that contract. When people say why would they get rid of Murray I can give them 9 million reasons for the next 4 years. Wow!
