More embarrassing than 1989

..in 1989 I was lead singer of my group..lol.. Then on a particular day, we we're at the drummers house. His parents were watching football, I ask how are the cowboys doing? ....they laughed and said you havent won a game yet.

Troy got the living crap beat out of him... he didn't say hey.... this season is over, can I tap out for now?
Great post!

I'm sure Troy is no different that the people in here. We see Cowboys players who tap out all the time. After every play someone is tapping! Ridiculous!!!!!

Because we eventually won a SB, hindsight. We clearly had a better coaching staff, something to look forward to. But losing all but one game is more embarrassing.
Whats Elliott have to do with it, need to take a lame jab? He only got 13 carries.

This Owner/GM/coaching staff is terrible.

My point is the front office was investing in the present for the 2019 team vs the 89-team was a bet on the future.

They had a national champ coach with a real resume and loads of picks. If you don't see a clear difference even without the success afterwards, I don't know what to tell you. That difference between Johnson and Garrett is really all you need. Hope was very prevalent then. it's gone now. Long gone. This team has a coach with zero experience to go along with a roster that regularly craps the bed.
That's not how the mood was at the time, not knowing the success around the corner. Agree to disagree. I specifically remember the end of the Landry era and then only winning a single game.
And there's still hope for some fans. As soon as they wash out the coaches.

When the Eagles came out in the 1st quarter and obviously came to lay the wood, you could almost physically see this team hesitate trying to find a response as a team. And they found one. They backed off.

Dallas never really tried to match the physical play of the Eagles. At least that's the way I saw it.

Philly just wanted it more. And they took it.
Sometimes posters in here state facts and this is one of those times.
