More Gumble Mumble

Not sure if anyone caught this. Sure someone did because like all my started threads of late, they are repeats.

Anyway, in the 4th Quarter Gumble was saying how he was impressed with Ryan Grant because Dallas had not given up 100 yards to a single rusher this season. By the way he said it, you would have thought that Grant ran for over 100.

He didn't, finished the game with like 95.

Just another drop in his ocean of idiotic statements. Hopefully the NFL gets rid of that guy. Hes clueless out there. At the very least, keep Gumble from broadcasting anymore of those "Dallas Packers" or "Green Bay Cowboys" games.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly what Gumbel said -- or tried to say -- as soon as Nate Jones hit Favre on Favre's final play. He just blurted out two indecipherable words.

No doubt. Emmitt may stutter a ton and have trouble getting it out but once you piece together the broken sentence it makes sense.

Gumble may be more camera presentable but he doesn't know his *** from a hole in the ground.

the broadcast was pathetic where you felt sorry for his ineptitude at doing a football game. it was getting to the point where anything he said Chris C. would say the opposite and most often prove him wrong. LOL.

the NFL network also isn't plugged into the sidelines enough. it's like they had one guy Adam S covering the entire football game. maybe the Favre injury screwed up things because the camera went to the locker room, following #4 down the tunnel... surprised they didn't shoot him walking to the urinal or something. pathetic.

gumbel was so out of it. He sounded like he was not even a casual observer of the game. These are 2 of the leagues best teams and he does not know who the fluck they are or the name of the biggest new star in the league. "rick romo?" He needs to be fired big time, does the NFL network know how god awful this guy is, surely they cannot overlook this. Not just because he doesnt know anything about football, but he has a boring voice, a boring look, and would not keep my attention if i was not a huge cowboys fan. I would love to see someone like Pat Summerall, someone who doesnt want to do a whole season, but just a few games here and there. Madden and Summerall were the best tandem of announcers i ever heard. Al michaels is also golden.
