More must-win for Eagles than Dallas! Philly's backs to the wall. Hence Eagles win!

You have to admit that the Eagles are feeling cornered. Losing this game will make them feel it's all over, unless Dallas after winning this one goes on a big losing streak (not impossible, but ...).

My forecast is Philly 31, Dallas 16. And a lot of talk on this forum come Tuesday about missing the playoffs.

I don't buy into the formula.

Cowboys have been in that same boat for this entire decade...and it did not apply to them.

Iggles defence has been the cornerstone behind the recent success of that franchise. But that defense is no longer what it was. The losses of Taylor, Vincent amongst others...is finally taking it's toll.

The offense has revolved around the legs of McNabb. Specifically, his ability to make plays with his feet. But he has lost his wheels...and the offense has gone the obvious direction one would expect if the foundation is removed.

The way I see it, the two sprimary strengths of this team (Defence and McNabb) have become question marks.

Over physical the defense...and force McNabb to scramble....and you have the battle won.

...in that a very young Dallas team really has nothing to prove and everything to gain just purely from experience.

This is more a watershed game for the Eagles than the Cowboys, and what I remember about football is the more relaxed and controlled the team is in the locker room and huddle the better they perform.

Football is a game of execution based on recognition. Anxiety is the worst element to bring into a football team's psyche. Desperation leads regularily to bad plays.

If the Cowboys enter the game knowing their assignments and relax and play hard I think they have a better chance of winning. The only lelement I thkn we are short of is experience, but one thing is certain in football - given that it is a physical game a lack of experience can be overcome with hard work.

The kids on the Cowboys have nothing to lose, they are all considered rookies who have done nothing yet. Take that advantage to the filed and show what you can do. There is no easier premise for a game than that.

I hope that Parcells see this as a possible watershed game and let the players play. If we lose he has ammo for the upcoming week. If we win he can still say 1 out of 3 for the upcoming week is still isn't a complete job.

Mentally the game is on our side. It's also fabulous that the line is presently against us on most sports books. There's really no pressure.

This game is exactly like last Monday nights game. Indy HAD to go into New England and win. We have to go into Filthy and win. Dallas 27-17 and we talk about playoffs all week starting on Tuesday.

For two weeks Parcells has drilled into their heads that not only is this a chance to beat Philly, but this can drive a stake into their collective hearts and eliminate their cold dead bodies from any type of playoff consideration.
Dallas not only wins, but dances on their graves after throwing on the last shovel full.

Same score, different sides: Dallas 31, Philly 16.

Just cause you have to win a game does not mean you will. If the eagirls can pull it together we will be in a dog fight. I suspect something more along this line then the first game.

If they are totally in disarray, we will win going away and the NFL will know the eagirls are done for the year.

They are a huge question mark at this point. I have no read on them as they sucked, then McFlabb starts looking better. I am unsure if their D is anything to worry about. I have not watched enough eagirl games to know. Only seen that one against us and they looked bad there.

Will be interesting, I am hoping Mon night does not turn into a TO pre game show and halft time show. I hope they dont mention or show him once. But they will. This will be more a distraction to the Eagirls and if they look bad early, the annoucers will be all over the TO angle......if only TO were here it would be different...etc.

This is BS! Most games come down to who has more talent, better coaching, and the most confidence. I think Dallas has all 3 of those covered in this game. This is just as much a must win game for Dallas as it is philly if Dallas has plans for a SB run. With NY and Washington playing well, we have to win these division games in order to have a chance. This is a true statement game. If we can't go to philly and win in this circumstance than we aren't ready to do anything yet.

Bill will have impressed upon the team that altho Philly is still a very dangerous opponent and the reigning NFC champ, you cannot allow a team that is on the ropes to get a second wind.

This is a very tight division race, and our last chance to help eliminate one of three opponents.

I think going for the jugular is the MO, with the hopes a royal shellacking not just continues the Eagles tailspin, but accelerates it to the point that regardless of how many more they win, they understand their role is 'spoiler' this last half of the season.

The Cowboys are not the Colts, but then who is. I like the analogy though. It's a chance to turn a page, closing the Eagles' chapter, and opening the Cowboys' chapter. We're the first team in the division to get a shot at knocking them off in their stadium.

And if we don't, one of the other teams will.

Hmm, weren't the Eagles backs against the wall last Sunday? Whole lotta good it did them. Funny how they'll be all fired up this week without TO, yet for some reason weren't last week without him? I would think you would get a bigger response from the team the game immediately following his suspension, not waiting another 8 days after that game. Just stupid logic the media is throwing out there. This Eagles team is going nowhere, the media just doesn't want to believe it yet.

If you feel this way, you must also jump up on a chair and hike your skirt up when you see a mouse. We now have a physical team that can make plays. Phiily was never that good, the rest of the NFC stunk. We're ready now, time to have confidence in the boys. On Monday night, the diapers come off or our young guys, and we lay the beatdown.
