More Rod Smith in Week 5?

With Zeke dealing with knee issues I hope the team will be smart enough to utilize Rod more.

Keep a fast pace on Offense and we can slip Rod in more. He did very well this weekend.

There is absolutely no reason to give Rod Smith more touches or to decrease Zeke's workload.

He's banged up, not injured. That happens to every player in the NFL.

LOL we are barely able to stay at .500 and you want to put Zeke on a pitch count. The offense is quite possibly the worst in the entire league. Zeke is quite possibly the only human being on the planet capable of keeping this thing afloat.

Foot some of our fans seem to forget it's a long season... You cannot run your best player in the ground.

Just one week? I get the whole FF thing but I really think it takes away from the game. I got so wrapped up in it that I was missing the games because I was glued to box scores and stats.

That's all well and good, but outside of like 2 ok runs the Lions had no problem keeping him in check.

Any RB needs some rhythm to establish themselves. Zeke was also slowly ramping up production as well the first few weeks.

We saw this with Morris. Wasn't great as a rotational guy, but when he got starts, he played well.

Frankly, Zeke doesn't need to be used as much as he does. Unless he's the next Smith, he'll be out of the league early on in his second contract.

Some here want him to rush 400 times a year. End up being the next Larry Johnson.

The hurdle, while fun to watch, wasn't the smart way to go. Leaving his feet decreased the chance of gaining more than an extra yard or two, and increased his chance of injury.
