Ochocinco plans to use Twitter during games

In an interview with radio station KGOW in Houston via Sports Radio Interviews Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco says he has big plans for Twitter: "I like it. I like it because it gives me the opportunity to reach out to thousands of people at one time. It gives me a chance to get my story across when something goes wrong ... It's big for me and I'm taking it a step further. I have my own application coming out where people will be able to interact and follow me. You know more than through just the keyboard and reading my messages - you'll actually be able to follow me and when the season starts, it's going to get even worse. I'm going to really make it fun. I'm using Twitter during games, during halftime, after the games. I'm going to be taking it to the next level."

I highly doubt Marvin Lewis and Dictator Goodell will let this happen.

Just wait. Someone will say it's cool what Ochocinco is doing. Watch. It's actually supreme, anti-team nonsense of the highest order.

TO will be jealous of this idea. More promotion for his TV career next year.

It's about time a program has been developed that will let me complain to as many people as possible whenever I feel like it. I'm gonna take complaining to a whole 'nother level! I'm gonna complain during the game, on the sidelines when the other team scores, in the huddle when Carson doesn't throw me the ball or calls a run play, in the locker room when coach doesn't yell at Carson for not getting me the ball, and again in the locker room when we lose. I'm gonna re-write the definition of complaining to a level you ain't never seen before. Watch.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't sideline communication restricted during a game.

The worst part of this is, the media will eat it up and others will think that means it is cool.

I hope his team puts the kibosh on it.

Finally I will know if he caught the touchdown or not. Really, there is no other way to know those type of things except twitter.

I do think it's "cool," but highly disruptive to a team and wouldn't want any players on the team I follow doing it. ... if that makes any sense.

I'm sure the league is already adopting a new twitter addendum to the league rules as we speak. There's no way the NFL would ever let any of this go down.

I do think the concept itself is cool, although I think a player like Ocho would misuse it to the point where it's just a huge distraction. But twittering before, during (at halftime) or after games is potentially an interesting thing -- but, again, I wouldn't want any Cowboys doing it necessarily. Still, you know this will never pass.

Well, yes. But with equal billing I would put forth the name Ray "Killer" Lewis of the Ravens.

For awhile there I liked what the receiver formerly known as Chad Johnson was thought it was kind of humours.

But this is just rediculous and pure speculation and hype on his part. Just like Darnell Docketts " Twitter Announcement" yesterday. I dont know why they seek that much attention.

If he does however try and pull some crap like that off, like Cris Carter said at the rookie symposium " Rog' gonna sit ya down". This will deffinately not happen during the game from the sidelines, maybe the locker room but not the sidelines during the game.

But then again Roger and every NFLN and writer it seems "tweets"? Did i say that right, tweets?
