So, after getting burned twice, he cheapshot tackles the guy in a non-contact practice. Color me not impressed.

Cheapshot tackles? The WR ducks his head, Claiborne gets underneath him and lifts him, he didn't drive him to the ground. Was not cheap tackle, if anything it was when he was getting up n Claiborne forced his head down with his leg.

As far as I know, they weren't supposed to be tackling.

I'm pretty excited about Mo this year. I know some were frustrated with him taking a few days off, but I would rather have a healthy mo then a guy who will struggle because of a nagging injury

Perhaps I am forgetting, but isn't this the same guy that scored an absurdly low wonderlic and stated that he didn't take it seriously ?

I would be concerned about him being seriously commited. He was interviewing for a dream job...but doesn't take it seriously ?
Hindsight melodrama. How Claiborne has or has not performed on the field is only relevant.

same here, you have a strain then give him some time beats the heck out of a full blow hamstring pull that will linger all season long. Mean time what I have heard is he is been very focused in the film room and bringing it to the field. No doubt the guy is coming in with a chip on his shoulder and looking to silence his critics.

Oh well **** happen. Call it cheap shot if you want I like the fact Claiborne is showing aggression and being physical.

I would probably be OK with it if he were a SS. The fact that he got burned repeatedly and then performed a cheapshot tackle is a little disappointing to me.

This year seems to be different, at least attitude wise. Dez is really rubbing off on some players. Crazy how change of leadership and make this team feisty.

No offense to Ware, and those guys, but attitude wise, they did not have it with him as leader. We are actually Barking, and showing a little bite. Years past, we didn't even bark, not even a little.

I used to be a Boy Scout fan, wanting all Cowboys to play with self control, and set the bar for class in the NFL. After 2 decades of loosing I really could care less about that crap anymore, sorry.

I am just glad that someone on this defense can show some cockiness, and if a few cheap shots are included, I could care less at this point rather or not its classless.

This defense needs some type of identity, and we dont have enough top shelf talent on defense to play the choir boy role.

If we get labeled the dirtiest defense in the league this year, I will take that because at least this no name D is showing up with attitude with officiating rules already being integrated to take even more skill away from the best of defenses,,, all defenses will be penalized no matter how good they are will be penalized at an all time high.

So I say just go out and make offensive players pay, even if it seems like "fair" contact, your going to see the yellow flag anyway.

Hit him fellas!

Again not cheap shot.

"Garrett said when he drafts a player, even if the player is drafted high, that guy needs a chance to grow and develop. In the drill against the Raiders, players were instructed to square up the runner and strike. Garrett said sometimes a player will fall down in that scenario, but he’s pleased with how Claiborne handled it."

There are lots of ways to skin a cat. In the past 10 years we've seen feisty / fiery Super bowl winning teams (emphasis on defense) with the Ravens, Pittsburg, Seattle, and to a less extent the Giants. On the hand you've had fairly non-emotional not really Ra-Ra defenses like the Colts, Packers, Saints, etc.

I think all the fiery stuff is fun to watch but I'm not sure it is a key ingredient. I do agree that it is nice to see it happening with the Cowboys for no other reason than it's nice to have a change of pace.

i hope for the best with him but I am not going to say he has flipped the switch after one play of him throwing down a guy when practicing vs another team.

He has had a very good camp too and has been very physical with Terrance Williams as well.

Mo' gets good reviews for his effort every camp. Each of the last two years he was going toe-toe with Dez and getting props for it. Then he gets injured, misses time, and backs into the regular season.

The only difference I can tell anything about this year is that he also appears to have bulked up sufficiently to jam stronger receivers better than he used to be able to. Which is the primary thing he needed to be able to do to consistently play press.

Cheap shot? The guy lowered his shoulder and Claiborne made a solid text book tackle.

You're colored out as not impressed no problem, who's side are you on anyway? Is that you playing the Sax? LOL it's hilarious.

Let me guess your a fan but a realist...AKA "Cool Guy" right.

Yeah, nice chains bro.

This is his best camp he has had, and if having some attitude elevates his game, or anyone elses game on this team than go for it, what can it hurt.

Exactly. Mo is showing he's improved his attitude and play in TC, he was out for a bit, but now he's back. That's a big plus there too. This is what TC is for, and then elevate it to the regular season [oh, we will get the show me posts here].
But for some of these fans it's not enough. They can't be happy or support a player that is trying to improve, and has improved. Yet all they can do is whine. They can't see or understand the concept of one as well a team really can improve. But it starts in camp. they need to be happy the effort is there, but for some reason they are not.
