Why? Its clear the guy worked on his strength and his technique and being more aggressive with wrs. Idk if that will translate on the field. But its clear he worked on it. I guess people dont really comprehend what they read too good in todays day. Because all I mentioned was basically he worked on weaknesses he had over the winter and it shows.

Getting comfortable in a system and with your mates is also invaluable. Following instincts only (like we'd expect with rookies) can create blown coverages; then everybody gets tentative, not aggressive. I'm in agreement that our secondary will be improved, and the DL will also be better - they can't be any worse. I'm not sure we'll beat 8-8, but we might get the opponents to punt once in awhile.

That has exactly... what to do with the Cowboys ?

My point stands.

Do you guys really think that he cares ?
He made it, and will get paid. Even if you cut the kid ( not that you would at this point, however) he will continue to get paid by someone.

I always have thought that many SEC DBs get overrated. He doesn't suck, he is simply average at this point. IMO.

I just want to see it, as one of your compadres stated...on the field. I haven't and looks like many fans feel the same way.

I'll take that as a yes.

Man, the Rams really bent you guys over a barrel on that trade, huh?

Not sure why. Claiborne's played well on Sundays before. His issue is that he's spotty, not that he hasn't shown he can do it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing him play. Being strong enough to muscle big WRs should mean we see him press a lot more. I'm expecting a lot of flags, and a lot of good athletic plays. It's just the ratio of the two I'm unsure about.

I'm hoping we take a look at RGIII once his rookie contract is done. We've got his WR already, and the Texas connection. If the Sk*ns don't manage to ruin him entirely, he might make a nice reclamation project right when we're in the market for a younger QB. I bet he'd learn a lot from Romo for a year or so without the pressure of carrying the entire organization.

I have heard or read many observations of Morris Claiborne about his underperforming below their expectations of a high first-round draft pick. Usually, the comments gravitate towards his injuries or lack of execution. I do not recall anyone questioning his commitment. While I have read observers trying to correlate his Wonderlic score to his ability to comprehend his defensive responsibilities, I do not remember anyone attempting to tie his Wonderlic into said commitment. That is, outside of your recent comments, of course.

Say what you want disappointment first two yrs, bust, gave up alot to draft him. The guy has transformed himself this yr. He's really physical. He showed it with a big TW and thenagain with a big WR from oakland. He literally stopped the guy and threw him to the ground. MO didnt even move. Of course he needs to stay healthy. But its clear this team isnt allowing any player to get back on the field until they are truly healthy.

But its refreshing to see Mo physical and not shying away from contact this yr.

Wish his transformation did not include frequent injury. He was reportedly injured (again) Wednesday when he fell hard on his shoulder.

Out for yet another preseason game. For those scoring at home he has played in a grand total of 2 preseason games in 3 years.

Just guessing.......but if Sunday were a regular season game he would play. Since this week is just the 2nd preseason game and the Cowboys want to get as many regulars into next weeks 3rd preseason game, no reason to push it.
