What type of deal is T.O. going to get from Jerry?

Marion Barber got his money. Terence Newman got his money. I think Ken Hamlin is eventually going to get his money. So in the immediate future the next guy in line for a raise is T.O., will he get his money and what exactly is 'his money'?

Today on Galloway and Company they had a pretty good go between on whether T.O. is looking at getting a contract similar to the deal Randy Moss just received in New England, or does Jerry try and get him on the cheap...

GAC Talks T.O. contract

Jerry has been pretty wise recently so I think he will make T.O. happy. Whether that's with a big one year deal or whether it's with a three year deal doesn't really matter. The fact is that with T.O. the Cowboys are a Super Bowl contender and in Jerry's mind that's all that matters.

The window is open right now so the Superstars are going to get their money. The last guy Jerry wants to have 'disgruntled' while going into the new billion dollar stadium next season is Terrell Owens.

I would give him the three-year deal that Moss received and not even look back on it. Just keep the train moving along at a high rate of speed and hope the last stop winds up in being at Super Bowl XLIII come February.

3yrs 27 mil would not be a bad contract to sign TO to. I don't think that TO will sign for less than Moss. TO is in good enough shape that he will play at a high level for 3 more years. But I think that when he finally signs, it will be for 4-5 years with about the same signing bonus (12mil) and guarantees (15mil).

I heard this while driving home from work.

I do agree with Galloway in theory when stating that you don't pay someone of Owens' age 27 million guranteed.

However, Owens is still playing at an extremely high level and there are no signs that show he will slow down anytime soon.

Also, sometimes I just want to slap Galloway when he continues to opine that Terrell Owens is overrated.

His mantra is "watch the damn game" and obviously he isn't taking his own advice as if he does watch the games, he would see that Terrell Owens is a playmaker and every team he goes too, the Quarterback has phenomenal seasons.

Its pretty obvious. TO is the exception to the age rule.

He will get a GREAT $$$ contract.

His injury at the end of the year was not because of his age... ANY young player pulled down at that angle would have same injury or worse and maybe doesnt recover as fast as he does.

Jerry signed TO to a 3 year contract for around $25M back in 2006. He'll certain be willing to pay TO the same money (3 years for around $27-$29M) that Randy Moss got. OTOH Jerry might be willing pay a little more and extend it over 4 years to spread out any SB he gives him.

are we going to run out of money or cap space first?
I'd put the chances of us running out of money somewhere around zero percent.
