There are quite a few FA QB’s.
The point is keep your options open. Paying Dak 30+ million is just a bad transaction. The team will instantly regret that choice. Some team has to make a stand. There is no path to winning if you overpay a perfectly average QB. Dak will not go anywhere and light it up. He is a very good system QB.

If you are going to judge this team by just SB's...
You are going to be miserable more often than not.

And this team is only the butt of everyone's jokes because they are America's Team. They have been winning their Div so their divisional rivals shouldn't talk.
Other guys? Who have had more success the last 3 years? I count only two teams, really. According to your stuff. And using the last 3 years of Dak...

btw, Jason garrett as a back one time threw for over 300 yards in a thanks giving game against GB.... and we know he sucked....but hey he threw for 300 yards, so he must be capable and must be good!!!

Same place being a Cowboys fan and overlooking ot gets you. Trying to make excuses for why we've lost everything that made us America's Team to the Patriots.

My point is it doesn't matter either way. It's still the same crap sandwich of team meltdowns that now blend together.

I am a glutton for punishment and I actually do enjoy them doing well. Just feel disappointed when we under perform in the postseason.

I hear you! Every year this team actually finds ways to lose when it matters most. Its almost a shame that we all are getting used to it where people accept mediocrity.
Its like were sitting on a bus thats not moving and looking out the windows were watching other teams pass us. If you dont have an elite QB you better have a very good coach and an elite defense. Dallas has none of them!

I'm fine if we never win a game. I would still be a fan of the Cowboys.
Honestly, I don't get all of the whining and crying about the past 30 years. Find another team if it affects you that badly.
It may bother me if I had any control over it, but like I said before - whining about the past is a clear sign of depression.

The sad thing is, if you buy into the team actually being "the butt of jokes" - in this current era, you have issues. We've been very competitive.
