i am so sick of hearing about the "new Americas team" and the "who dat nation".....its annoying, unwarranted and absolutely self created BS...they act like they havent been beaten this season by anyone .........all week long watching NFLN or ESPN they have the guys on location in Miami doing their shows and in the background all we hear is moronic drunken Saint fans screaming top of their lungs drowning out analyst "Who Dat...Who Dat ..Who Dat...."........well Saint fans WE DAT.....too bad we didnt handle up on the Vikings or we would be there instead ,and too bad the vikings turned the ball over 6 times or they would have crushed you and you wouldnt be there

God i hope the Colts absolutely embarrass them so they can go back into their paper bag head dressings..............
:saints:

I've had a pretty good week, but on the other hand, I haven't watched a lick of ESPN (except for basketball games) or NFLN. That's the easy way to not having to hear about it.

Wow, really? They've never been to a super bowl, their stadium was used to house victims of Katrina. They played their home games on the road. Let them enjoy this. Geez, heaven forbid fans be excited about their team. It could be so much worse, we could be hearing about Favre for two straight weeks.

And in regards the "new america's team" comments. No one else is America's Team but the Cowboys. History has already proven this. New England was America's new team, then it was Pittsburgh, now it's New Orleans. It's like trying to find the next Jordan. There is no other Jordan, and there is no other America's Team except for the Dallas Cowboys.

go tell that to their Who Dat fans that .......they seem to think theyve become a dynasty......

and Katrina has nothing to do with it.....I mean hey, Texas had the Alamo......SF had the great fire......NY had 9-11.........and SD drafted Ryan Leaf .....every state and city has had its tragic moments in history that dont mean they should drag it out every time a sports team makes a Championship game

Funny how people feel the need to rag on passionate fans, when just weeks ago they were ragging on our own for not being passionate enough!

Are you kidding me? Most families in New Orleans lost EVERYTHING in Katrina. They are still trying to put their lives together. Damn your heartless.

Oh no, nothing will come close to last year for me. I either had to hear about the Steelers attempt at first to 6 Super Bowl trophies, or the sudden Cardinals fans in this state who were invisible for the previous 19 years I lived here.

Gag a maggot on a gut wagon.

I don't give a damn if you like the saints or not. Hell, I don't give a damn if you like the cowboys or not. But don't act like fans who don't have much of anything right now can't be happy about their only real sports team going to the super bowl. Root for the Colts for all I care, but at least understand that most of those fans have been through a whole hell of a lot, and they have every right to be cheering for their team. Whether or not you like the chant.

I still don't get where you get the idea that anyone thinks the Saints fans can't be happy or supportive. There's a difference between being excited and supportive than being arrogant, and ********. Being annoyed at their extremely annoying, unoriginal, and just flat out STUPID chant that they can't seem to go 5 seconds without crapping it out of their mouths not, is not only understandable, it should b expected. I'm amazed at how anyone could NOT be troubled by it by now. It paints their fan base in an extremely unflattering light as it makes them all look like a bunch of bumbling idiots. And then of course you have the stupid media fighting over themselves trying to see who can pass on the moniker of America's Team and have it actually stick. To top it off, you have everyone going on and on about a freaking Katrina, after 5 years, and woe was New Orleans, as if nobody else outside of that stupid city was affected.

I want the Colts to win so I don't have to freaking hear about Katrina for the year and how super wonderful the Saints are for that city. I don't want to see Harry Connick Jr. over and over again simply because he's a famous Saints fan (these days he's more famous for being a Saints fan than anything). And I sure as hell don't want to hear any more of the damned "Who Dat" bull****.

Want a good drinking game for the Superbowl? Take a drink every time Katrina is brought up. I'm sure you're whole party will be drunk by kickoff.
