I didn't watch this, but personally the most dangerous thing? As a kid, climbing a light pole and dangling upside down by the legs off of it *right over the street*. I still shudder to this day when remembering those time...

Ah the brown recluse spider, I did get concerned when I saw one in the bathroom at home. BTW if you can see pretty good it is easy to tell whether or not it is really a Brown Recluse, they have only 6 eyes in three clusters. The fiddle can be faded, so size and type of texture can be hard to differentiate.

After I killed it I looked up a ton of info, I mean 30-40 websites. Here is a good reason not to fear them, the mortality rates are pretty darn low on bitten people. One reason is that the reaction to their poison is different for ppl, some are more affected than others.

The bite itself can be pretty light, in fact they have pedipalps that are half the size of other spiders, best stat on them- when they are biting you only 50% break the skin, somewhat comforting.

As a youth my family was staying in Florida for the summer. As a youth I liked snakes. One day I found a king snake in some rocks by the water. I went and got an old coffee can, put some small rocks in it and got the snake and put in the can. I went to show my parents the snake and hoping I could keep it. They were taking to an older guy who lived in the area. I walked up and said look I found a king snake, as I pulled it out of the can, and asked if I could keep it as a pet. The old guy said, could you put it back in the coffee can and let me look at it. So I did and he looked at it. He then said I don't think you want to let your boy keep this as pet. It is not a king snake, it is a coral snake and he is lucky the thing did not bite him.

When I was a teenager we jumped off these cliffs and into the lake. It was about 150 foot jump. Well, one day I jumped off the cliff without looking first and I just missed landing on a boat.

Moving forward 10 years, some kid did the exact same thing but he landed on the boat and killed himself.

Scary stuff.

This video isn't about the dumb things we have done in our past. It is about being brave and facing your fears and working through them. The title is misleading but that is what they named it on YouTube.

It really is worth watching..........................
