Washington Commanders. Always has been. Always will be. If the season was on the line? If I had the chance to put some voodoo on a team. Same answer.
Philadelphia will never displace my dislike of Washington. Even the last game can't do that. They deserved to win, not because they won by 38 points. It's because they were overwhelmingly competitive in that game. It was obvious they wanted that game way more than we did in every way.
Both teams met for the second time this year with relatively the same healthy rosters as it had in their first meeting. What changed? It wasn't the talent level of the respective teams. Nope. It was better in-game coaching and player execution. By a landslide.
We could have played as well as we were capable of playing. That was proven this season. We have a very good team, but it doesn't matter at all how good a team is if it doesn't perform when it matters most. This team's ego got in the way of it's self-proclaimed mission and it cost them dearly.
