I haven't watched a lot of the guys but the two guys who stick out to me as heat seaking missiles are Budda Baker and Jarrad Davis. I understand Davis has some injury concerns but he just pops off the screen. As we build our defense, i want play makers and guys who play with an attitude. Baker and Davis appear to have both of those. .

Overrated:
I have 18 people with first round grades this year and even some of them are borderline. Marshon Lattimore, I wouldn't feel good about at all. When a guy has hamstring surgery, bye. Solomon Thomas, I really don't see it at all. He rushes from DE like a DT. If someone takes him thinking they've found a DE, I think they're going to be very disappointed.

Underrated:
I'll stick to the guys slated around day 1 or 2 and say S Eddie Jackson.

Jackson was up there with Hooker as a playmaker at Safety. He's going to be ready for his rookie year so I'm not sure why it feels like he's still getting an injury downgrade on a fractured leg. A program like Alabama likely has extensive testing numbers, so I doubt it's really an issue of not being able to work out. It's a pretty routine injury.

He just looks like one of those players who's moving at a faster speed than everyone else. Started out at CB but moved to S due to players lost to the NFL and was just too good to move back. I always give a bump to guys who come in as true freshman in premier programs and excel early.

Of course, Mahomes too. Should be the #1 QB.

Mahomes as #1 QB?

Don't see that at all. Not that the QB prospects are great in this draft (I wouldn't take one in the Top 10-12) but Mahomes is the rawest of the 4 IMO.

Lattimore had hamstring surgery?

Well, outside of injury concerns I think he's easily the best corner in the draft.

Most Overrated: Leonard Fournette. Lots of talk about him putting up Bo Jackson like combine numbers and really nowhere close. Good downhill, straight line runner, but played behind a superior O-Line. I'll be surprised if he can survive all of the hits that come with his style of running. I question his ability to pick up the blitz...lots of intricate details go into blitz pickups in the pro game. And I question his receiving skills. When he played against top tier defenses that could compete with the LSU O-Line...he struggled.

Most Underrated: Fabian Moreau. Top notch athlete that tackles really well. Knock on him is the defensive holding, but in today's game you can get away with being grabby. I'd rather have a player that is grabby and tackles well than a player that avoids being grabby and tackles poorly. Can play both zone and man coverage.
