In the past, there's usually been a few teams that separated themselves as the elite teams in both conferences, but this year no team has shown that they're a clear favorite.
I really hope Dallas can make it in, no team in the NFC or AFC that I look at and think Dallas doesn't have a chance

What a sports year it would be for me. My Dodgers had an epic comeback in the WS. If my Cowboys could do the same Id be ecstatic! Lord knows I need something positive in my life right now.

I was thinking the same thing. Even the best teams have had really poor showings at times.

Remember what Parcell would say..........you wanna play your best ball after T'Givings

I agree, this year there isn't a truly dominant team. Anyone that makes the playoffs can win it all this season. There's no Brady Patriots in their prime or Mahomes Chiefs from a couple of seasons ago. No current dynasty is running.

hmmm, not really. its been pretty close to this for years, except for a couple of years here and there.

I pray whatever negative is going on reverses and is replaced with peace and comfort.

Yep, well said.
I am one of the many that have always come on here and said this team can make the playoffs but is actually lacking too many important pieces to advance in the playoffs.
I do not think that with this current team.

As currently constructed this team is as good as any of the other 31 and on any given Sunday could win or lose to whomever the opponent is.
In the past I always thought there were 6 or 7 playoff teams we had no shot against.
Not this year.

Again, well said.
I totally agree.

yeah, it's literally wiiiiiiiiiide open. and of course we're in the position we are currently. just a bummer. it's been a really entertaining season though. hopefully we catch some (or make our own ) breaks and can take advantage

I know we keep saying this but its actually one of the best "Test" stretches we have seen, so here goes again... If they can come out this Thursday and put the Lions down on thier home field, its going to add to the level of "Big Moment" play this group has.. i cant remember a stretch like this since well.. the 90's. I"M NOT SAYING THIS IS THE SAME KINDA TEAM im just saying this is a hell of a stretch of games that they can show something we have not seen in a long time...

Man I hope things go ok for us and you get something positive. I rarely run across anyone who is like me in in fandom but I am a Dodger fan and a cowboy fan as well. Ill ask what your favorite basketball team? cause that would be quite weird if we hit on that. Im not a big NBA fan any longer but if I were to pick one it would either be the Mavs or the GS warriors

could you all imagine how amazing it would be to be sitting here in 2 weeks after 2 more cowboy wins and 2 more eagles losses to say that this team just has to win the games in front of them and they are the 3 seed? wild....its a possiblity.

The Cowboys dug a pretty deep hole to start the season. I fully expect the team to make a run at a play-off spot. If they squeeze in cool. If they come up a game short, it at least gives us a little hope going into next year.
The only thing I hate about missing out this year is the idea of striking while the iron is hot. You know, if a team like Philly barely gets in and then is eliminated quickly that Roseman will retool the team to be more competitive next year. There are a few others that will also use free agency to increase their chances.

I think we've got a good foundation to build on now, but the only building we'll do is through the draft. And we don't know who Jerry and Co. will let go and have to replace, meaning we could be spinning our wheels.
