Most wide open the league has been?

hmmm, not really. its been pretty close to this for years, except for a couple of years here and there.
hmmm, yes really. This is the first time in around 25 years that a dynasty isn't running. We had the Patriots dynasty running for 20 years, and the Chiefs more recently. This is the first truly wide open in a long time.

I pray whatever negative is going on reverses and is replaced with peace and comfort.
Thank you. My best friend since I was 4 year old died in 2022. He was supposed to meet my son and died 1 day before he made it. Last Wednesday my other bestfriend died at 39 year old. I was just learning to deal with my friends passing, now I gotta start all over again.

Man I hope things go ok for us and you get something positive. I rarely run across anyone who is like me in in fandom but I am a Dodger fan and a cowboy fan as well. Ill ask what your favorite basketball team? cause that would be quite weird if we hit on that. Im not a big NBA fan any longer but if I were to pick one it would either be the Mavs or the GS warriors
Im technically a Lakers fan, but I don't watch much NBA anymore. Haven't since Kobe retired. I grew up in the 90s, I was a fan of individual players. I was a big Allen Iverson fan and Vince Carter.

.... but rams beat cinci in one superbowl...now you want to claim KC was a dynasty and they lost to Cinci in AFCCG, then KC is playing this year too. they are probably not going to make it to the superbowl. but are you assuming the KC dynasty is over? or is it a down year for them. same when Denver beat carolina.

dynasties go through up and down years. KC had been to 7 straight conference championships and superbowls and its hard to keep that up. new england went through the same thing. had couple of down years under brady. weren't they still a dynasty?

but I get your point. with KC having a down year, it gives everybody else a chance in AFC

Remember the 2000 SB between the Ravens and Giants? At least I think it was 2000. Talk about no dominate teams.

I’m truly sorry for your pain. We’ve had a number of family deaths in the last few years and my grandson has struggled with them. The last was the only one that you would say died early, but they were all significant influences in his life.

In the past, there's usually been a few teams that separated themselves as the elite teams in both conferences, but this year no team has shown that they're a clear favorite.
I really hope Dallas can make it in, no team in the NFC or AFC that I look at and think Dallas doesn't have a chance
Ive been watching the NFL since 1977. I dont think it has ever been more open than it is this year. It doesnt surprise me anymore what happens.

Did you have Carolina beating the Rams? A depleted Washington was 1 play away from beating Denver.

Im not sure if you are being Sarcastic.... the 2000 Ravens defense was historically good. They gave up 3,10,3,and 7 points in 4 playoff games.

The story of the AFC for what feels like the last four-plus years at least is the Chiefs, and whether Buffalo or Baltimore can finally surpass them.

This year, that's all completely upended with KC not even in the playoffs as of today, Buffalo fighting for a wild card currently, and Baltimore looking pretty offensively inept and limping toward the finish line far from a Super Bowl contender, even if they do end up winning their crap division.

It is definitely a season of change in the NFL.

What I like is we're really far back but there is a surge of belief in the Cowboys. This belief gives me enjoyment. The first I've had in a long long time

As Cowboys fans we're used to this. Close, maybe, just a game out etc.

As I remember it, most of the league was weak that year, especially on the NFC side.

Be there for him. Its never easy especailly if you feel alone like I have been. Let him know you're there and just listen. I hate when people try to talk to me and start making comparisons to their loses instead of just listening.

Been saying this since early in the season that it was a bad year to be bad because the top teams this year would be mediocre in most years. There’s no dominant team or any team without glaring holes. If you can get into the playoffs, you have as good a chance as anyone this year. Unfortunately, we stacked up a lot of bad Ls to start the season and don’t control our own destiny completely. There are still enough variables where we could win out and still miss I believe.

No dominate teams, so despite their issues this year I fully expect the Eagles or 49ers to get to the SB. Rams, Seattle and Bears are all 9-3. SF is now 9-4 and Philly 8-4. The Packers, 8-3-1, are likely the only other team that could get there.

NY Giants won a Super Bowl at 9-7. It's been open for a while. It's just New England was hogging up half the Super Bowl every year. ;)
I was thinking about that but the Giants had an all world defense that could travel anywhere in any weather.....im not sure our offense could even do that.

What a sports year it would be for me. My Dodgers had an epic comeback in the WS. If my Cowboys could do the same Id be ecstatic! Lord knows I need something positive in my life right now.
Start staying in the company of naked women more than you've been.

It may not cure everything but it certainly wont make things worse

The two ten win teams are the Pats and Bronco's;
neither one looks dominant
But if I had to choose the Pats seem a more complete team and Vrabel really has them playing consistently
wish we could have gotten him but no way he would ever work for NGM
