The city if Detroit is called "Detoilet" for a reason as it has been run by corrupt politicians for decades now. The football team is merely a reflection on the region... they suck at everything.

Dallas is run by corrupt politicians and idiots just like Detroit. The problem with Detroit is that the people that know better and have the chance to do the right thing still don't do it. In Dallas, somebody manages to get it right every once in a while (Hi, Angela Hunt!).

Anyway this should be a pretty good season for Detroit, I really do think they will win at LEAST two games. Which is a pretty big improvement, percentage-wise. 4 or 5 more seasons, they have a real chance to go .500, that would be really exciting for Lions fans. If Joey can do it, so can Stafford!

Jeez, wth did I say that you took so personal? I was just pointing out that many of the 0-16 players have been jettisoned and replaced, especially on defense. Did not think I would antagonize anyone w/harmless observations.

Don't take it personally, BAT. I'm just sick of all the Cowboys-are-in-the-same-boat-as-the-Lions nonsense I've been reading on this board. And not just from Judas. Others have said at least the Lions this and at least the Lions that. Some posters want to point out the positives of an 0-16 team while saying nothing but negatives about the 9-7 team they so-called root for. That kind of thinking gets on my nerves.
