Godfather 4 - I know, I know, part 3 was worst movie ever made ... Blah blah blah... Actually the story was awesome .... But Coppola just did it for money. Didn't put his heart into it.

Tv to movie

If they can make an entourage movie, x files movies, etc.
Then I want a FRINGE movie.

That's all I can think of right now. :)

Fun thread.

I want to see a high-budget Mech movie done correctly.

Not transformers or Pacific Rim, but more along the lines of the Armored Core game series where the mech suits are piloted by people and have weapons akin to a fighter jet.

Think Sci-Fi Top Gun but without the constraints of politics/physics governing the dog fights.

More in God's Eye could be a pretty cool movie.

I'm an early rock and roll fan. So I'd love to see a movie on the Winter Dance tour of 1959 that killed Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper. Showing the difficulties they had riding a bus in the freezing snow, racing from one location to the next. The overall problems of the tour. Icons of rock and roll and a historic moment, yet no one has thought about doing this. Either a tv movie, or my preference a film.

I'd like to see a motorcycle gang movie. Like SOA turned big screen.

I believe a NASCAR movie (think Days of Thunder) is in the works already.

A new western.

Great thread!

"After Pearl"

It would feature what happened AFTER Dec. 7th, 1941.

There would be the drama of the cleanup, the recovery and the amazing feats done to rebuild not just the infrastructure there, but the morale. Just refloating the battleships (other than the Arizona and the training ship Utah) is an amazing story.

It would also show the 2nd Japanese attack on the Island that occurred in March, which no one talks about. And would culminate in the "Doolittle Raid" which inspired the nation and greatly unsettled the Japanese.

Another good idea MW

I would like it if a tv series did their series finale as a movie!

Ie. Show ends May 31st. You go into summer wanting more. Labor Day weekend. You launch the series finale movie!! Heh heh

I would bet that it will happen.

People would flock to the theatre.
Those that didn't even watch the show would marathon it to catch up to see movie.

Maybe it's better to end the tv show after or for the fall so people are home to marathon the tv series..... Hmmm ...

You played Armored Core too? Nice ref! That would make for a good sci fi action flick bc it hasn't been done properly before; like you said Transformers and Pacific Rim isn't the same theme, etc.

I think the cast from Workaholics could put together a great "buddy" film similar to Hangover. The writing has only gotten stronger as the seasons have progressed and the three actors have a naturally seamless dynamic (they write their own episodes).

I may be the minority on this, but also wished they would have Villain inspired movies. There is a niche for the bad guy as the lead (Hollywood would surely give them some redeeming qualities). This structure could allow for more spicy plot and sub themes-social commentary that isn't possible with classic hero flicks. Could develop a deeper understanding as to "why" it matters when Wolverine fights Sabertooth. Or a Magneto lead film, etc. A break from the "family feel" of the Avengers and the newer superhero movies that have done well outside of Batman who already embraces more of what I am speaking of.
