This ain't BCS series, to care about power poll etc. I frankly never cared that much about Experts opinion of cowboys, i.e. rankings. Its maybe nice Message board topic or Water cooler talk at best. All that matters is wins.
The problem with Cowboys has been, the Local media and Fandom, with unrealistic expectations, looking for style points in wins etc. That weighs too much on a team. What makes Cowboys America team is also a curse. The 90s cowboys have just spoiled the fandom and Local Media. You got idiot like Jennifer Floyd Engel, constantly calling the HC names, in juvinile manner, instead of just critisizing the coach for his failings without resorting to name calling. I used to like Jennifer, but she has worn her act, and become plain classless.
And most the local media is like that, with few exceptions like Todd ARcher and Clarence E. Hill Jr.
