Before the season began, there was a lot of talk about which one player the Cowboys could least afford to lose on defense.

The top three concensus candidates were:

T. New
Jason Ferguson
D. Ware

With two of those top three out, of course our defense is going to struggle. I'm glad to escape with a win and to see that our offense is quite capable. It might doom this team from making a deep playoff run, but all we need is for a at least one guy to step up and some injury luck.

The good news is that T. New could be back sooner rather than later. The bad news it that Ferguson appears to be out for the season.

Now if Tony Romo goes down, we are really screwed...

If Romo ever gets to a point where he starts a game as well as he ends it, his stats will be through the roof. He can look like he's struggling, yet have a QB rating over 100. And 23+ yards per completion is (like some posters say) SICK!
