Mr. Jerry Jones, I am a die hard dallas cowboys fan, since 1966. And I love the Cowboys, even the Hard Knocks show in 2008, but please no Hard Knocks for the Cowboys this year in 2009. This team needs to stay away from distractions, and the glitze and glamour, and get back to hard praticing, focusing, and paying attention to details.
The Cowboys cant do that with HardKnocks. Next, whomever the squealer is in the locker room that is blabbing stuff to the media. And I know how you love all the media attention, but the person that is blabbing, needs to stop pronto.
Even a media person, that I dont like him, Ed Werder, said that he can get Bradie James to sing to him like a bird. Werder, espn is well noted for getting Cowboys players to talk. That needs to stop.
There is plenty for media personnel to write about. How are you Mr Jones, the coaches going to reverse the trend of losing in December? How are you going to get the receivers to run the right routes? How are you going to make practices more physical with hitting. Remember now Mr Jones, there was no hitting in practice last year the first 25 days.
How are you going to improve on special teams, and your head coach must put emphasis on it. Wade Phillips and the Cowboys lost 2 key games on special teams last year, the Arizona game, and the Ram game specifically. Even the playoff game in Dallas against the Giants was lost some due to special teams play. Reports are that Bruce Read had to beg players to give effort on special teams, that goes back to attitude of the players Mr Jones, that needs to be fixed.
You definitely need a backup QB that can play and play good Mr Jones. And the penalities, sloppy playing, lack of focus, example Mr Jones, your starting center snapped the football before Romo was ready, that needs to be fixed in training camp, not try to fix during the year.
Another thing for media writers to write on Mr Jones, what is the idenity of this team, whom is the starting WR the go to guy that gets the big first down when needed, and he runs the right routes. Whom is the 2nd wr and 3rd wr, whom is the running backs, this team needs to be able to run and run well Mr Jones with the big offensive linemen that you have on the Cowboys roster, but its not being done right, why Mr Jones.
So, there is lots of stuff for the media to write on, like how many times if Folk the kicker going to kick the ball out of bounds and cost the Cowboys field postion. Is Wade Phillips finally going to call the defense, like he should? We saw what happens when Stewart runs the defense, its pitiful.
