Rumors going around that it is an MCL sprain.......a lot of guys play with MCL sprains so it doesn't sound like he is going to miss any games.

Cortisone and lots of tape and ice.

Reading Jerry's quotes, it appears there's some concern there. Hope it's nothing serious.

After seeing it I'm guessing out at least 2-4 weeks to rest the knee. Unless there's a tear.

Hopefully it's a sprain rather than a tear but his effectiveness might be compromised for a while. Butler could very possibly see additional work in the meantime, though. It isn't the ideal scenario but might easily have been worse, assuming it's not a tear. If it is, then "next man up" applies.

Read Jerry's quotes about M.Irvin coming back into the game after tearing his ACL. Now I don't believe we're talking ACL here with Dez, but Jerry made it clear they didn't feel they were out of the woods just because Dez was able to return to the field.

This team needs a real defensive influx this next off season.

But they could spend a high pick on a WR and still augment in free agency. The shiny is wearing off of Dez for me.

The offense will not be successful if Beasley is gets the most catches.

But fortunately this team is young enough the potential is perhaps 2018 for it to really shine. So there is time.

Until then, I will be impatient.

Dez wants to play so I'm not sure he'll be exactly honest when the doctor on the sidelines asked does this hurt? while I'm not panicked I'll be glad if we get positive results from the test
