Dallas Cowboys (7-7) @ Philadelphia Eagles (7-7)
Game time: Sunday, Dec. 22, 4:25 p.m. EST

Maybe the most important game of Week 16—a matchup to take control of the NFC East, which is the only viable path to the postseason for both: The Dallas Cowboys win the division with a season sweep and victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly cannot officially clinch the division with a victory, but the team will be in the driver's seat. needing only a victory over the New York Giants in its final regular-season game.

Dallas was able to halt its three-game losing streak in a 44-21 bashing of the Los Angeles Rams. The Cowboys helped themselves remain in first place in the NFC East, but also helped the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers clinch playoff berths by taking down the Rams. The Eagles have strung together back-to-back wins after emerging from a three-game losing streak of their own. Their 37-27 victory over the Washington Commanders helps set up the most crucial game for both the Eagles and the Cowboys this season.

Dallas exasperated the Eagles in a 37-10 beatdown when the two squads played back in October. Can the Eagles exact their revenge and stay alive, or will it be a Cowboys division crown for the second straight season? Oddsmakers like Dallas as a road favorite.https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nf...eek-16-winners/ss-BBYah7E?li=BBnb7Kz#image=27

The Cowboys have a good chance of turning in a win in this contest, as long as they approach it with a sense of urgency. The Eagles will be fired up to get to a more respectable place in their standings, or at least, they should. I really expect the officials to be generous in their tendencies to favor their home team's calls that will likely leave Dallas fans seriously questioning their fairness. That's just one of many things that playing the game away from Texas must be dealt with. Of course, there'll also be an avid bunch of Philly faithful making a racket when we're taking the offensive side of the ball. We had better come to this contest ready to kick some hiney! It quite likely won't be any cakewalk, that's for sure! Let's see what we've got. Go, Boys! ;)

I don't know what changed last week, but we looked a lot more like the team I expected to see this season. The only What The Heck moments were the out of bounds kicks.

Hopefully the team has finally woke itself up & is ready to start playing consistent winning football.

We'll see tomorrow.

I agree.

I expect alot of trick plays from Philly to surprise us.

Things like shovel passes, fake punts, HB passes, reverses and QB draws.

If you have watched their last two wins, they did alot of this to change momentum.

Let's be ready defense.

Good call, Redball -- a team that sucks as much as Philly would be inclined to resort to such deception. We'd best expect it!

Number 1 offense and number 7 defense with a 90 point differential while being 7-7.

Absolutely putrid.

I think it goes all 4 quarters to decide the winner. If the refs keep their hankies in their pockets and lets them play, I think we pull it out.
On the other hand, this team has such a tendency to make momentum changing mistakes when they are up. With exception to last week, we let less talented teams stick around. Kills me.
