According to Nick Eatman on The Break, the team wanted Murray to play, but Murray said no I'm not 100%. They said you're good enough to play but he refused. Interesting.

Not sure what to make if this deal here. Is he afraid our doctors are not good enough? Or is he making a business decision?

Typical Media weasel words.. Sure the team " wanted him to play" but Murray said he's not 100% .... maybe they forgot to add my injury isn't fully recovered which is more than likely what he meant.

There is something really wrong behind the scene with this team. I've never heard of players choosing not to play after the team says they are good to go. A player that makes that decision needs to be cut immediately but since the players are not held accountable, nothing will happen. They really appears to be an adversarial relationship between the players and the training staff if this report is true on the heels of the whole Ratliff deal.

This will now become known as "The Ratliff Principle".

I have no problem with Murray sitting out if he wanted another weak. Maybe he doesn't want to have this injury linger? He has been a tough runner and him being soft has not been one of my complaints.

There has to be more of the story. I'll wait for that before passing judgement.

It could be a case of Murray being tired of being injured all the time. Maybe he feels that one more week can help him be healthy for the rest of the season. The team needed him yesterday. That's why I find it interesting.

Miles Austin was supposed to be ready to go, too. Unless he came up with a completely new hamstring injury when he returned, he wasn't really ready.

I would prefer all of the players stay out until they can safely return. I know they play through injuries all the time, but it isn't good for the player or the team when a player returns prematurely from a serious injury and gets hurt again the first game back.
