That feels minimal. I'd doubt he'll go for that. I'm sure there will be a team willing to pay twice as much out there.

where would that put him in running back salary catergory if he signs that? wondering how much rb's are going for these days

Whew, when I heard this on NFL radio I thought they said $60 million and nearly ran off the road.

I don't like allocating resources to running backs but even I admit this is too cheap.

Call it 6/30m for all I care. Just don't give him a huge signing bonus so if he falls off they can walk away.

They can guarantee the next year's salary every March 1st or add a roster bonus, but you shouldn't commit a lot of guaranteed money to any RB

It's a starting point. I could see them going up to $5-5.5 mil for four years but once you get over that threshold you are playing with fire.

Cowboys are low balling I don't think they want him back enough to break the bank... I don't blame them, he was obviously wearing down towards the end... this was his 1st season not missing games

Plus I just like the 2 back system better... little thunder and lightning lol
