I think after 2015 for Murray we can finally put the "not resigning Murray" argument to bed.

Granted he wasn't used properly in Philly, but he was never worth the price and them trading him at the end of the season solidified it even more. Murray had a dream year with health in a dream offense with a dream Oline and got a dream 400 carries in 2014. Once in a life time perfect storm that he will probably never have again.

Well at least not for him.

Best use for Murray - from what I think - about 300 carries this season and 200 - 250 next season and call it a career.

While you can still walk.

He's no longer a Cowboy...so, the best of luck in his situation.

Of course, until he plays against the Cowboys...then goose eggs aren't bad enough.

Screw Demarco Murray. He took the money to play for a division rival. Dallas offered him what was actually a right-sized deal for a back of his age and miles. Had he stayed, he might have ended up with more money overall and just a better career overall. As it is, he went to a hated rival, embarrassed himself, was somehow traded, and now plays for an NFL also-ran with another 2nd round pick nipping at his heels. He'll probably be out of the league entirely in two years.

Given the contract he got, Dallas did the right thing with Murray.

I would have been fine with us taking David Johnson or Jeremy Langford last year. Both would be good in this offense and no need to burn a 4th overall pick (or two mid-late 1st rounders if we wanted) on a back this year.

Now just hoping Zeke makes it all worth while.

Not elite, but definitely above average when used correctly.

Class guy, but made some horrible career choices (well, I guess not really from his perspective $$$)

Not sure what it means to be the most overrated Offensive Player of the Year. He won Offensive Player of the Year because he had a fantastic season and deserved it. That's why it's a yearly honor instead of a career honor.

I'll take another Offensive Player of the Year this year and I don't care who it is because it likely means good things for the team.

As far as re-signing Murray goes, the team did the right thing in not trying to match what Philly paid him. It still doesn't diminish what Murray did in 2014.

I don't know if he is the most overrated in the NFL but he is definitely an overrated player.

I find it hard to hate DeMarco, he's always been a class act.

He'd have been better off staying here, but I don't begrudge his going after the money. I still have no idea why Philly thought he'd be a good addition, he didn't fit their scheme at all.

I think we should say THANK YOU to him. He would have been hurt last year or this year and we would have wasted money on him and failed to draft a top end RB in his place until after he left.

Ranked by who? Not that it really matters, but thought it might be pertinent information to share.

I wanted David Johnson badly. And then we could have used our first rounder on defense this year. Oh well. I will still look forward to Zeke running wild.
