Cowboys DE DeMarcus Ware said he's getting closer to returning. Soreness mostly gone. No swelling. Said he'll be game-time decision again.

Asked if he's tried out braces yet for his injured triceps, Dallas Cowboys RG Brian Waters said, "We haven't got that far yet."

Harris said he's been playing through "some torn muscles in his lower ab" since St Louis. So that's the "hip" injury

That's pretty funny, Hawk's first Halloween experience.

I wouldn't rush either. We should beat Minny without too much difficulty.

With Murray on the sideline for most of the past three games, the Cowboys have rushed for only 184 yards on 71 carries. Rookie Joseph Randle has 108 yards on 44 carries, a 2.5-yards-per-carry average.

“Getting the ball as much as I did, I need to make sure I produce, and make sure I’m making plays and doing things like that with the ball in my hands,” Randle said. “I want to make the most of every opportunity. …I feel like I’ve been doing that. There are a few things that I could’ve done better. I think I’ve been doing pretty good. It’s something to build on.”

Does anyone else see a distinct contradiction between these two bolded sections? No, Joseph Randle, a 2.5 YPC average is not good in any way, shape or form. And the fact that you think it is pretty good is fairly disturbing.

At some point we are going to run out of running backs to blame and reconcile with the fact that our failures in that area have more to do than with whos carrying the ball.

Demarco Murray - 4.7 YPC
Joseph Randle - 2.5 YPC

No, it has everything to do with who's carrying the ball.

Murry seems to be doing just fine running behind our o-line, so what gives?

I'm more interested in how well the Cowboys run the ball rather than the stats although I agree they cannot be ignored either. When we can run the ball effectively esp when the other team expects us to run then I'll be happier.

What's this about Waters trying on braces? Is he gonna try to come back or what? Is he still IR'ed?

Im actaully alluding to the fact that under Garrett we dont know how to use the running game to any effect. Even if Murray is having a decent game we will inexplicably move away from it.

Its almost as if we call an obligatory running play here and there just to say we tried and even if it looks like its working we never commit.
