Murray was the main reason we had a chance to win

OP I agree with your point (run the damn ball more!) but your Romo-bashing is kind of ridiculous.

I'm eating some serious crow on Murray. He's a better back than I gave him credit for earlier in the year. When the OL does their job, Murray's usually rock-solid.

No harm man. The problem when you have a forum sometimes is that someone says something bad about a person, then everyone piles on. But if you follow the strategy that I do, I don't judge a person until after 3 or 4 years. This is why I'm so hard on some players, and not so much on others.

You're a good man sir. Many others will remain in denial and continue to find ways to try and slander DeMarco. Lame ppl... Feed him.. Satisfy his hunger and good things will happen. I'll be very interested to see if this change in coaching philosophy continues or was just an aberration...

I think the point is that because we didn't abandon the run, it allowed our offense to stay balanced, it prevented the Skinz to simply blitz us into submission and it provided opportunities in the passing game to make plays.

You can say that it's Romo or you can say that it's Murray or you can say that it's the Coaching staff making the right calls but in the end, it's all of them combined that allowed us to win that game today. Without any one of the three, it would have been another lose IMO.

It's called offensive balance and it's worked since the dawn of the modern passing game in the NFL.

Romo bailed no one out. It wad his/passing game fault we were even trailing at that point. Romo bailed Romo out with that throw cause without it, all I remember was the 2 TOs to start the 2nd half that got us down.

Romo bailed out the season when everything was on the table.

He was stellar in the 4th qtr, especially the game winning drive. Also, on that last drive all we did was pass ... and we won. And when we did hand the ball off to your boy Murray he failed miserably(on the last drive), he potentially could've ended our season with that bone headed play.

With that being said, he's been playing a lot better since he's came back from that injury.

Not really bashing if you've ever read my posts that say Romo is a championship caliber QB as long as he's on a pitch count. Now me being critical of all the passes called, then you have a point. I do bash all of the passing calls which Romo has to throw since he's under center.

All of you can say what you want, but I've been consistent in my belief that when Murray gets 20+ carries, we win. Were still undefeated when that happens. And just know, he deserves 25 carries at the minimum for this team to succeed and to protect romo from THAT PLAY!

Yes you have. You've been right there with me holding up the "Feed Demarco Dummies" picket signs.

Were on the same page boss, too bad I'm not convinced Garrett has seen the light. Hopefully next week stays the same.

How fitting is it that the season-ending INT @ WAS last year was a pass to Murray, and the game-winning and season SAVING TD today was a pass to Murray?

There would be no season to bail out had we run the ball in several other games instead of throws (last week comes to mind). So you give him credit for saving a so called season when it shouldn't have been in jeopardy to start with. 26-3 pimpin! We're supposed to run while ahead right? So it's Romos fault we had to have a season saving drive vs. 3-11 now 12 team. It's also romo fault for putting us in position to have to have a so called season saving drive with the two passing game TO added to his seasons resume that turned a 14-6 lead into a 23-14 deficit. Never forget!!

& 1 of them was by the FB who CAUGHT THE BALL from Romo, so I guess that's Romos fault as well. BTW, Romo THREW the ball to Murray, so I guess he gets ZERO CREDIT for that.

Related point, I don't blame Romo for the pick thrown to Dez both because Dez slipped as he threw it but also because that pass is very, very rarely intercepted. The announcers were on Romo about it but Dez will either catch it or knock it down 99 times out of 100.

I also thought it was funny how the announcer crew was saying what buffoons the Cowboy coaches were for not running on running downs and then in the 4th Qtr Murray kept getting stuff on running downs and won it passing on a running down like you say.

The term, Championship Caliber is problematic for me. You either are or you are not. It causes a lot of arguments on this board.

Hall was in position to pick that regardless of Dez slipping. Pass should have never been thrown that way at that angles w/ Hall all over him. Anything that happens negative in the passing is not always on romo but when The majority of mistakes happen in one area of the offensive scheme someone ($100M) deserves most of it! Yes DESERVES!

Dude, you are seriously embarassing yourself in this thread. The fact that you choose one offensive weapon over another just shows how very little you must understand football. Football is a team game, where the running game complements the passing game and the passing game complements the running game. The fact that we have Tony Romo and DeMarco Murray is awesome.

Murray just seems to be getting better and better and the fact that we are feeding him more thrills me to death, .. I love to run the football.

But since you don't realize it, .. Romo was a gladiator in the fourth quarter today. He played hurt, on the road, in a hostile environment, and led this team to 10 points in crunch time when they were down by 9.

He made play after play, throw after throw, extended plays, .. he was amazing.

Knowing that we need offensive balance, .. I'm thrilled to have both Romo and Murray, .. throw in Dez and that is the closet thing to "Triplets" that we have had since the mid-90's.

Not sure what your problem is.

Go look at the tape, Dez had a small separation but slipped as the ball left Romo's hand. Dez is four inches taller and 30 pounds heavier than Hall, if he doesn't slip he will catch the ball - or worst case, knock the ball down. Which is why they throw to him when he has single coverage several times (at least) every game.
