If he test free agency he most likely won't be coming back. I think make him an offer hopefully no more than 3 years and then if he doesn't take it then you have to move on.

I think he tests and does return.

It will be 32 mill over 4 years. We'll guarantee 16 mill. It will boil down to being a 2 year deal for 16 mill with the money spread over 4.

We finally have a great O. We've got to keep that intact for 2 more years.

I think the over/under on the
Murray contract is about 6.5 million per year ......however you want to slice for the total amount of money he receives prorated over the number of years he actually plays. That is about 1/3 of the rate that a franchise QB receives in a year (20 million per year).

This. When looking at Over the Cap, it has Jamaal Charles making an AVERAGE of $6.9M a year and he has been just a little more productive than Murray (no pace for his 5th 1000-yard season). I think the MAX I offer Murray is 5, $35M with a huge base salary in year 5 for cap relief purposes.
